Just How Queer is This?

So some are wondering just what we are. JustHowQueerIsThis.com is a community driven site for helping find the red & green flags related to queer representation in media, helping you filter out the bad & find the good. Also, we want to help spotlight creators that we feel you should check out.

You know what's good? Women. You know what's even better? Women with swords. Want even better? How about women with swords being openly queer together. @zoewithasword.bsky.social and @valentinemsmith.bsky.social's @blademaidens.bsky.social comic is a classic.

Hey everyone! Wanted to clue people into an update we've made to the site, allowing for link! This can make it easier to go to the creator's website, their patreon, their itch.io pages, etc Links that users submit still go through the moderation process, so don't worry about bad links or spam!

Severed hands, hard boiled detectives, and a cyberpunk setting? I'm in.

In honor of Dolly, today we're spotlighting her book "Coat of Many Colors". While not queer, its message is one that we can still take to heart. It doesn't matter if something looks different, but instead, it matters if it is embued with love. www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/787445...

3 more chapters of Untitled Waitress Story?! Alyson, do ever find the time to sleep?

I just donated to help SPIDER-MAN, who took on nazi scumbags trying to invade Minneapolis again. Arrested by our local cops (boooo) who were diligently defending their racist turd pals. Let’s help good ol’ Webhead with his defense! (PS I can vouch for the GoFundMe creator) gofund.me/6f36a1ac1

Something to remember is that it is important that we're not only entertained, but also informed. @junoryleejournalism.com hits us on both fronts, with insightful looks into a wide range of topics. Recently, she gave us insight into the FBI's unsavory past. junoryleejournalism.com/2026/06/11/f...

We're working behind the scenes to add new categories, but we're wanting to know, what do YOU want to see on here?

For those who enjoy a good comic strip, Finding Dee is a great weekly semi-autobiographical webcomic. It can be helpful to find mirth in life, and Dee delivers. This recent post though? I'm in this photo and I do not like it. findingdee.com

Don't tease me with a good time. I think we've all found something for our TBR.

If you're wanting comics to read, it is hard to go wrong with anything from Jadzia Axelrod. Her Galaxy series is top notch.

Congrats to Zoe Tunnell and Lauren Knight for funding issue 2 of Sink Your Teeth In. If you're a fan of urban fantasy, the story so far has been a fun romp. Don't worry if you missed it, late pledges are still available!

For those who can make it, Again Again is one to not miss. A spectacularly queer production from top to bottom.
