I assume it is something AI-y that has led to so much of my blog traffic suddenly coming from China? Which also probably means I am getting far few people reading anything than my stats suggest on first glance (and it isn't many to start with 😆)

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

I am BAD at this game so this is rare as hens teeth and warrants celebrating 😂

Very much enjoyed 'The Tainted Cup' - there is a LOT of 'world' to get your head around but I am a sucker for an eccentric detective/assistant duo and Ana & Din are first class in this regard. Suspect I'll dive into book two pretty sharpish...

Things I have inadvertently stockpiled: also old Kindles Smoked Paprika Canvas tote bags (that I never buy, never use and yet...) Sharpies/Post-its Beard/hair clippers Laptop bags

This post is unavailable.

...plus you know all the things I intentionally stockpiled Books Comics Sketch/Note pads Trainers Baseball caps Art Tshirts Hoodies 😆

Just the flu jab for me this morning - apparently despite all my health misadventures this year I have dropped off the Covid jab list...might need to see about buying one!

I'm a bit late to this 'Be Ready' stuff - but given I currently can only get about 3 or 4 weeks of insulin at a time and need a prescription each go I don't think stockpiling is much of an option. I might start stockpiling Coke Zero and noodles though...and I probably should own a torch 🤔

🤞 I score tickets for this!

🥳 🍻 It’ll be the galaxy’s greatest party! We're celebrating 50 years of 2000 AD with a special two-day immersive live extravaganza on 6-7 March in London! Check out the details here https://bit.ly/3VXsbW5

Six years today (at this time) that I got bounced off the bonnet of a car before they ran over my foot 😬 2020 really was a joy.

Next year we're expanding our Essential line to cover classics from across 2000 AD's fifty-year history - and we're starting in April 2027 with an all-time great: BAD COMPANY! Essential Bad Company is available to pre-order today! https://bit.ly/4iwvTyy

I have had to provide *so* much personal data to get 'verified' for work this time 😬 When (because it won't be if these days) they get hacked I'm going to be f**ked!

If anyone in the Leeds/Harrogate area wants a free ticket to the Thought Bubble Comic Con in a couple of weeks I can no longer make it and have a weekend ticket going...just DM me.

Thought Bubble Festival@thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social

We're currently on track for selling out early this year. We strongly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. We will keep you up to date as we get closer to selling out! Get yours here: thoughtbubblefestival.com/tickets

I'll attend any session that does NOT mention AI 😆

Loathe as I am to admit it Google Gemini (via Image search) has been really good at helping me identify the artists for my #streetart pics - even some pretty obscure ones - and find links to their Instas or other online spaces.

It used to be that software developers built blog engines instead of writing blog posts. These days they're vibe coding apps to keep track of household chores instead of doing household chores.

Done! Massive thanks to everyone who donated and to @officeofwilson.com for playing hype-man! We raised over a grand in a day - a few more donations will push it to £1,500 - you know what to do 😜
