And the idea that caregiving for a disabled adult is some kind of free ride… eff you! You come walk a mile in my shoes for a day. And we receive no such funding or assistance because Rick Scott gutted our med waiver program in florida back when he was “helping Florida families”.

Let’s not forget who the real fraudsters are. The One Big Ugly Bill re-routes the fund these families need to BILLIONAIRES through tax cuts. They’re the ones taking money from disabled adults and giving it to billionaires and lying to you about it.

2/2 That is a net savings to the government. It I absolutely crazy to call this fraud! They are literally saving the government $ and providing better care! Shame. Shame. Shame on anyone who would call it fraud and take it away! But are we surprised?

Last night I dreamed I was watching that awful HBO/Max show “The Regime” and couldn’t get the channel to change. Can’t imagine what that was about… 🤔 #prodemocracy #writersofbluesky

Just finished Carrie Soto is Back. I really loved this book. The MC is so very flawed you can’t help but root for her to change. TJR is a such skilled story-teller. The Midnight Library… just reached the midpoint. Reading it old-school style with a hard copy. 🤩 💙📚 #booksky #wwwwednesday

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost from The Road Not Taken 💙📚 #booksky #poems

Not sure who needs to receive this message today, but Medicaid already has a process for assessing waste, fraud and abuse. It’s called the Medicaid Integrity Program (MIP). Audits are performed by Medicaid Integrity Contractors (MIC) and State Program Integrity Operations. The more you know 🌈 💫
