What we fail to say is also a message. Not calling for Trump's impeachment and removal conveys he has not committed offenses that warrant these actions. Or, at best, that you feel he has and are unwilling to do your duty and use the remedy written into our Constitution for presidential crimes.

I’m glad there is a reported ceasefire deal with Iran. But we shouldn’t be in this illegal war in the first place. And Donald Trump can’t simply threaten war crimes with impunity. Congress needs to get back in session now to stop this war and remove Donald Trump.

He still needs to be removed from office. A war powers resolution will not suffice. He circumvented Congress to start the war. He circumvented them on tariffs and appropriations. Why anyone thinks he'd adhere to a Congressional war powers resolution is beyond me.

Yes it’s good Trump backed down from his threat to commit war crimes. But that doesn’t change the fact that the sick demented malignant narcissist continues to play brinksmanship getting nothing in return - on war and tariffs - while declaring victory and pivoting straight to more insanity.
