Josh Beard VA 🍉 (ON MEDICAL LEAVE)

New year, new Gaming/Interactive Demo! Need a rough, powerful, deep, wise guy, or vulnerable voice (and more!)? I'm your feller. Thanks so much to @erinlundquistva.bsky.social for script and direction, and @thomashalle.bsky.social for production! You guys are awesome!

About 7 years or so ago, I tweeted "RIP Tim Curry" and then in a comment wrote, "He's not dead. I just hope he's getting a good night's rest." and he liked it. Do you think if I tweet the same thing now, he'll do it again? 😔 😢

Enbies, Ladies, and Gents, we've been upgraded to pumpkin soup! The docs say it's possible I *might* even go home this week, which means facing the hospital final boss: The Bill. I haven't been able to work for months, so it's a struggle. Any donos or shares mean the world. gofund.me/5a1ab3f77

Guess who's been drinking rice water WITH THEIR OWN MOUTH. It's actually a big step. Still at least another week in the hospital, and the bill is still running. I haven't worked in over a month and won't be able to record for at least another. Donos and shares mean the world. gofund.me/8c19f02ec

LESS THAN A DAY AWAY!

Happy #AudioDramaSunday ! The last audio drama Sunday, in fact, before we debut this week, on August 13th! We can't wait to share this story and the hard work of the cast and crew with you all. See you in four days 🔥🌲❤️‍🔥

We are only ONE WEEK away from the debut of our pilot episode, NO SIGNAL! Summer isn't over yet, and Twig Lake welcomes you. Subscribe to us at the link in our bio to listen to our trailer NOW and catch our premiere. See you August 13th!

Me exactly 1 year and 4 days ago vs me yesterday, 122lbs gone. But it's been hard. I go in again today to fix my gastric torsion (oddly enough, the same problem and surgery as Oma had). This is on top of Oma's surgery and vet bills. So any help would be appreciated: gofund.me/70f8751d3

Keep an eye out, horror podcast lovers. Coming August 13th to all your podcast outlets.

We've been waiting on this one for a while. It's so. Close. Perhaps, a little too close.

“The Al is not just telling you what you want to hear. It is training you, one conversation at a time, to need less friction, expect more agreement, and become slightly less capable of handling a situation where someone pushes back on you”

And yes, Tony is most definitely A CAPSLOCK-AMERICAN! 😂

Oma is still struggling with complications from her near-death scare. Donos and sharing help keep her around 🙏. I know I've been spamming about her lately, but like, she's worth me tanking my engagement 🤷‍♂️. gofund.me/ad99dc418

Y’all I’m helping run yet another indie kickstarter! Like monsters? Like horror? Like messy queer characters? Like angst? Then Monsterhearts: Welcome to Drowned Lake is for you!🩸 Slam that Notify me on launch button! #Monsterhearts #IndieGame #Kickstarter #MHWTDL

THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who has donated and shared. We're struggling with her medical bills. Donating and sharing could help us out a lot. gofund.me/870d8f3b7

Oma update: She’s doing ok, but now she's also dealing with intestinal bleeding, so her care is more complicated. We’re still a long way from goal, and I'm struggling to cover her care + rent. Donating and sharing really helps. Thanks (Video of Oma high for the algorithm) gofund.me/1ac1897ee

The Founding Fathers were Capitalists FIRST

🐼🚨ROLE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨🐼 I'm just coming out of my surgery hiatus, so I'm a little late on this one, but I'm SO excited to say you can hear me as the voice of Dr. Hell in Tales Runner RPG! Check it out at: tr-rpg.com Or on Google Play/App Store

Did you know that before I became a voice actor, I was a professional photographer? I've had a lot of downtime while recovering from surgery, so I rebuilt my portfolio site! joshbeardvo.com/foto/

Where has Josh been? Sorry I've been pretty absent lately. Truth is: I had to have diaphragm surgery. As you can expect, that makes VA pretty difficult right now. I'm on the mend, and can't wait to get back to work. Thanks so much to my clients who have been so understanding.

I've been pretty silent here the last few weeks as I've been dealing with a surgery (don't worry, I'm fine), but I wanted to wish all my fellow voice actors a happy #NationalVoiceActorsDay , and a big thank you to everyone who's trusted me with the voices of your characters!

🚨ROLE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 I've had a wild time playing Rondo in the upcoming game: Anarchy Road. The demo is out on Steam now! store.steampowered.com/app/3733260/...

"Sure, I'll split the files for free!" he said. The fool. The ABSOLUTE RUBE.

Voice actors: What you think CD's say when hearing your audition: "BLECH! This is completely wrong! That other actor is way better. Pass!!" What they actually say: "AMAZING! Why are there so many outstanding talents!? It's unfair I can only pick one."

Fun fact about Josh: I used to work in a Chinese fire circus! What's something interesting about your past? (or present!)

Don't touch that dial, it's @joshbeardvo.com !

Well well well, 5 days post release and it looks like it's time for #ASongforASwig mini showcases! Did you know that by tweaking the ambience volume slider, you'll be able to hear extra bits of conversations even when Roedahn's focus shifts away from them and back to Berdios?

Another Yorkshire accent study: The Chicken Dance.

hi im about to start my #ASongforASwig shit posting era 1 LIKE = 1 fun fact about the team / the game / the production shenanigans 1 REPOST = 1 MEME DROP (with 0 context) lfg 🐦‍⬛🎵🍻 #NaNoRenO2025 #visualnovel

I've been quiet this month because I lost my car during the rainy picket. Being on the phone with insurance companies and not getting ripped off in the car sales process is hard even when you're not as autistic as I am. Please share it around and donate if you can! www.gofundme.com/f/donate-to-...

Kylie is seriously one of the hardest working and most amazing people in game development. I can't believe how much work they've gone through organizing this game. Plus, they're a pretty bad ass arm wrestler 😉

Hi excited, I'm Dad! Come hear me make you groan in embarrassment in the NaNoRenO Jam game: A Song for a Swig! I can't say how much fun it is to work with Kylie and the whole crew! Why, I'd even do it for free! #ASongforASwig #NaNoRenO2025
