So, uh, this Nikola Jokic situation? He and the Nuggets look like shit and he's calling out (and doubling down on it) booing fans who don't like how shitty they look?

I wanted to get the official diagnosis before sharing this. When I was 19 I had a similar hoops injury to Jalen. I remember it being visibly gross. I remember the first few days being very painful. But I remember getting better. The bone healed quickly. My bigger challenge was mental confidence

BREAKING: Oklahoma City's Jalen Williams has a dislocated left ankle and fractured fibula; Cason Wallace has a torn labrum in his left shoulder. Both will undergo surgery and be sidelined for several months -- most, if not the entire season.

Update: my pal @andrewschlecht.bsky.social received clarification that both Topic and Sorber are still out and that their omission from the injury report was a clerical error

Which means Jaylin Williams is available after leaving last night's game with wrist soreness. And it also means Nikola Topic and Thomas Sorber are both available.

Devin Vassell said it was tough watching Jalen Williams go down last night: "You don't wish that on nobody. Prayers up to Jalen Williams and his family. ... He's a hell of a competitor, great person."

All that is known about the Thunder's availability tonight, per the 2:15pm CT injury report... Chet Holmgren - Out (Right Patellar Tendinitis) Cason Wallace - Out (Left Shoulder Soreness) Jalen Williams - Out (Left Lower Leg Injury)

Thunder executive vice president & general manager Sam Presti will hold a media availability at 5pm. This is shortly before Mark Daigneault's typically scheduled gameday media availability (90 minutes before tipoff).

today I learned that Celsius has 270mg of caffeine I learned this after two cups of morning coffee and one Celsius energy drink I'm fairly caffeine-tolerant but I don't do > 200mg energy drinks for a reason

SGA is crying in the postgame interview. He’s the leader and face of this franchise and he’s showing the squad and the whole world that it’s ok to be emotional in that moment.

Players immediately gasped, staff rushed out to place towels over his leg. Stretcher on the floor now.

Man. Jalen Williams just suffered a bad leg injury.

read into this at your own risk, but Jared McCain gets the nod to start the second half in place of the injured Cason Wallace

Jaylin Williams (right wrist soreness) and Cason Wallace (left shoulder soreness) will not return to tonight’s game against the Clippers. Per Thunder

missed this because I've been trying to help family, friends, and neighbors watch tonight's game, but Cason Wallace exited with a shoulder injury early in the first quarter. Suboptimal. For both Cason's shoulder and local sports streaming.

The Hawks/Cavs game is a back-to-back for both teams. Postpone it and find a date later in the calendar. There are 5+ months left in the NBA season and the league has managed to successfully reschedule games in the past. I know it’s somehow not that simple but it should be.

There will be a Game 6 of the WNBA Finals in Atlanta. But nobody knows yet where or even when the game will be played despite a furious round of negotiations spilling into Sunday between the WNBA, NBA, Valks, Dream and Hawks. What we know, with @ramonaespn.bsky.social www.espn.com/wnba/story/_...

1 - the 20-point streak was amazing 2 - I'm glad it's over as a talking point 3 - it's pretty slick that SGA basically said "I'm done" after hitting that 3 and checked out with 17 points 4 - OKC won this in a blowout without Shai getting 20+

Incredible sequence for the Thunder, Chet stuffs a dunk at one end and Jalen Williams slams home an alley-oop at the other. Building goes nuts

Because @jonhamm.bsky.social asked: Here's a brief comparison between Oklahoma's offense in seven games under Seth Littrell in 2024 and through six games this season:

Tom Green@tomasverde.bsky.social

Statistically Speaking: A closer look at Oklahoma's "frustrating" inability to finish drives. Per TruMedia, the Sooners' offense is... -- 8th worst in red-zone TD efficiency -- 13th worst in goal-to-go situations -- averaging 1.51 points per drive (2nd worst in P4) -- worst in FBS in turnover rate
