Something about me is I really enjoy Lizzy McAlpine’s music and currently have her song “reckless driving (feat. Ben Kessler)” on repeat. It’s honestly giving me Orpheus and Eurydice vibes but that might just be my interpretation Something else about me… I love Hadestown That is all 😌

Air quality is super horrendous recently so I’ve been wearing a mask at work (grocery store). It’s “interesting” how I’ve gotten multiple comments about it and from a lot of women it’s when kids ask and they tell them “probably the smoke” From men it’s “uh oh, doing the fake covid thing again” -_-

I did it!!!! Just hit 100% and wrote “the end” on my current WIP #writingcommunity #WIP #Drafting #writing (Ignore the start date. That’s just when I had the initial idea and not when I started writing lol)

Just one chapter to go (and maybe an epilogue) to finish my current WIP!!!! Yay!!!!

I wish there were apprenticeships for writers where you work under a mid lister or something and get paid a livable wage while you’re writing. Like, they could give advice and pointers and you don’t have to have some other stupid 9-5 while you work toward being a full time author. Just a thought

Going back to work after a week and a half away shouldn’t fill me will such dread/anxiety. Guess I really am burnt out :/

Back from my big weddings trip to the east coast. Recovering slowly… My body is sooo tired it’s wild. Not looking forward to work tomorrow haha

At the rate things are going I might need a vacation after my vacation. It’s a lot of fun but also SOOO draining

Having to work 6 days in a row and get on a plane the sixth day for your vacation because you’re not given enough vacation time to ease that schedule… It’s rough, and I’ll be working 6 in a row once back…

Have to close at work today but still managed to get up in the morning like usual and get 4 major items knocked off my list of todos!! 😤 Now I’m exhausted but feel really happy. Still have to go into work in less than two hours but man did I do a ton of good shit!!

Just finished watching Hamnet not too long ago and….. man. Beautiful movie, heart wrenching tragedy with such a strong core about grief. I cried waaaay too much. I’m not okay 😭😭😭

Absolutely shameful

Sad thing is, realistically, only one hit and the level would be over and the disaster of a vehicle destroyed. They’ll literally have to buff the car just to give you more time to beat up on it

I’d say it’s just a tragedy about how parents failed their children and the cost of adults feuding needlessly for reputation and other made up stuff

There’s burnout and there’s… I feel dead inside at my job as I do the same repetitive things every day while my inner version screams. My body keeps moving but inside I’m on my knees, clutching my head with my entire body on fire, screaming, crying, shaking… I have good days, but when they’re bad-

Another chapter down! 8 more to go (ish). Feels great to stay consistent even if it’s slower than I’d like :)

Finally getting to play flesh and blood (card game) again at my local game store. The past two months have been crazy! Time for some pure joy 😊

Why is it the days I’m sick and stressed and tired I get the most done? Like, I stayed home from work to rest, which I did, but I also did a TON of other shit I didn’t HAVE to do but wanted to do and was really productive… wild Feels dumb

In hindsight, I recommend wearing a mask or something when cleaning a dirty/dusty garage… my sinuses are stuffed, inflamed, and sleep has been rough the past two nights. Still glad I cleaned it… but not enjoying the current state of my health

I love biking. I work close to home so I bike to work. Now, when it’s raining, I VERY MUCH dislike it. Basically, I walk into work looking like I didn’t make it to the bathroom in time for a number 3 😑 (I don’t have fancy bike flaps or anything for the back tire. My bad I guess)

There are at least two different types of people when it comes to taxes. Those who do them ASAP the beginning of February, and those who remind me the deadline isn’t until April which seems absolutely wild. I want that stuff done immediately hahahaha

Just did some spring cleaning of my garage and man…. Feels so so good! I love getting rid of junk and organizing stuff ❤️

Wrote another chapter today (about 1800 words) and added a verse to one of the diegetic songs (my WIP is about a musician) so now I’m over 3/4ths of the way through the book!!! 76% #WIP #writingcommunity It just feels really good 😊

This also helps me to get through my TBR because on work nights I don’t worry about writing and ultimately doom scroll or watch anime, but instead can choose to watch anime (or lately) read a book. A PHYSICAL BOOK! Not just audiobooks! I love it 🥰
