I was in MSG when the Spurs held a trophy at the Knicks' expense in 1999, so last night was a long time coming. And while it doesn't make up for '99 or 53 years of futility, don't let anyone take away your joy as a Knicks fan today. This one was for us. knicksfilmschool.substack.com/p/champs

I wrote my first article in more than 3 years. I actually started this one in 2024 & it stuck with me, coming to mind every time OG Anunoby did something special. Thanks to @jonathanmacri.bsky.social & @knickfilmskool.bsky.social for welcoming me back. knicksfilmschool.substack.com/p/ode-g?r=yv...

The Knicks continue to rewrite history. My two missives from an unforgettable night: knicksfilmschool.substack.com/p/1-in-14000... knicksfilmschool.substack.com/p/still-proc...

I blogged about... well, beautiful, selfless ball; and hospitals and pain; and investing in hope rather than wallowing in doomer misery. It’s not a lesson I’m going fully embrace 24/7. That’s eminently clear. But maybe with these Knicks, I can? knickerblogger.net/2026/06/knic...

Because the Knicks are playing the best ball of our lifetimes, @jimcavan.bsky.social @knickerbacker.bsky.social & I are getting back together to pull off one last high-stakes improbable heist-type caper That's right, we're going back to blogging at Knickerblogger knickerblogger.net/2026/06/were...

Patrick Ewing's Knicks played 153 playoff games over 15 seasons. If you combine the margins of victory from their 7 biggest wins over those 15 years, it adds up to 171 points The current Knicks have won the last 7 games by a combined total of 185 points knicksfilmschool.substack.com/p/unpreceden...

The free throw rates in this series, per @basketball-reference.com: Sixers: .263 Knicks: .234 Raw totals: Sixers: 78 FTA Knicks: 74 FTA And that doesn't even factor in 10 FTA from Hack-a-Mitch More on a dominant night from a serious basketball team: knicksfilmschool.substack.com/p/serious-pe...

Worth noting after NY forced 18 Philly turnovers last night: Knicks are now 2nd in postseason TO rate among teams still alive, behind only OKC. Their middling 14.7 regular season TO rate has jumped to 16.2. More on a big night at MSG right here 👇 knicksfilmschool.substack.com/p/the-cost-o...

Jalen Brunson had an off night down the stretch against Indiana, but was his decision-making poor on top of his execution? I went back and examined the last 10 minutes of Knicks Pacers to show why some of the criticism has been unwarranted: knicksfilmschool.substack.com/p/f-around-a...

Good Morning, Knicks Fans! Going to start posting my Morning Announcements here every morning. Here’s today’s edition:

Thinking about the last 4 years' worth of Knicks drafts today after Mike Brown used a 7.5-man rotation vs MIA. What % of the blame for the lack of good young prospects lies with the necessities of building a win-now team, what % lies with difficulty of nailing late picks, and what % is valid blame?
