Thoughts @profgalloway.com?

In the ongoing debate over whether AI will take our jobs, it is notable that ChatGPT appears to be taking a sick day today.

@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social Hi Zohran. Question. I rent in NYC but don’t have the good fortune to live in a rent stabilized apartment, and my rent has gone up 40% total over the last two years. What are your plans to protect tenants who don’t live in rent stabilized apartments? Thank you.

ChatGPT fail. #OpenAI

So as a 50+ GenXer, I pretty much get all my political, sports and social commentary from @joshtpm.bsky.social and @billsimmons.bsky.social (and their teams), both of whom I’ve been reading for two decades. Is that bad?

Trump Fires Santa Claus, Declares Federal Takeover of North Pole WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a move that has stunned the world and sent shockwaves through the holiday season, President Donald Trump issued an executive order late Thursday night firing Santa Claus and seizing control of the North Pole.

Nico Harrison, the good soldier that he is, is very publicly taking the incoming for the Luka Doncic debacle. But this just the latest, and most deranged example of new owner syndrome. Matt Ishbia on steroids. #nbasky

OG OH NO #knicks

I was today years old when I realized that Donald Trump Is getting sworn in on Martin Luther King day.

The Lakers reportedly aren’t taking JJ Redick “seriously” as a coach, with some players calling him ‘JJ Reddit’ 😳

Not happy with how the new #NBA CBA is affecting the #Knicks. We literally could not sign Isiah Hartenstein, because the rules effectively imposed a hard cap on pay. So we had to lose Randle and Devincenco, to get KAT as a center. I like KAT, but the entire scrappy nova-knicks identity is gone.

No I didn’t just discover that I signed up for BlueSky right after Tears of the Kingdom was released, and now my BlueSky identity is defined by a video game.

People don’t start private mercenary armies to win wars. They do it to get rich. Whatever deal Prigozhin struck with Putin and Luchenko, I’m sure it included a very large wire transfer to a Prigozhin offshore account. It was a power play to get paid. No conspiracy theory needed.
