if there's any fgc people following, do people know of any good resources on starting/promoting events? i'd really like to see if i could start a lethal league scene locally (obviously not a particularly popular game :v) and am trying to figure out the logistics of doing so

the prebuilt i bought for this project originally had the board randomly kill itself, troubleshooted for like 5 hours, then have now managed to get a new board fof cheap where i only had to bend back like 1 pins on it and it fucking boots finallyyyyy

the megarex "-core" series of albums have such cool covers. all their album covers are so cool but those in particular i really like the vibe of, examples attached i think i just like having Actual People on stuff like this, feels very at home with like, old nvidia gpu advertising

steel ball run ep3/4 thoughts its kinda proceeding on a good week to week schedule at this point, production has definitely dropprled off slightly (like, it looks good but not quite as premium as prior stuff), oye como va fight was probably the most standard jojo fight ep so far

im not entirely certain what has changed (weight gain or hip growth maybe?) but ive noticed my body has gotten to the point where just like, tshirt and jeans is something i look legitimately good and feminine in rather than feeling i look boxy or whatever good feeling!

i vaguely wish it were easier to go to a boardgame shop and play like. variety stuff, i wanna go out and meet friends playing board games but i have genuinely zero interest in magic the gathering or yugioh or similar, however it generally seems like these r the only events that exist in these spaces

i kind of fundamentally do not quite understand doing anything To Get Laid unfortunately because being attracted to someone generally requires a pretty significant social/emotional connection (i am demi) so any sort of Doing Something To Get Laid for me must essentially be I Want To Make Friends

the specific situation im referring to was that i wanted some method at this barcade by which i could mark myself/the setup i was at as "open to randoms!" so if people wanted to they could hop on and play shit w me on said setup which i thought would be a fun way to facilitate playing stuff
