To gain them, you need to contact the community creator of the Sakurajima community with your social profile (Fediverse, Bluesky, Website, AniList/MyAnimeList/Kitsu profile) to gain access. This allow us to vet users before allowing users to create their own communities.

All users will be given premium features, but if you want to support our Fluxer server (and other Sakurajima services) are encouraged to do so in the donation links on our costs page on our main website: joinsakurajima.org/about/sakura... Note that all Fluxer servers will have federation in 2027.

We are proud to announce that we will be opening up our Fluxer server at Yurigaoka, our Discord alternative to anyone this Saturday (October 10th).

This is a themed Fluxer server as it will focus mostly on communities that focus on Asian media (primarily Japanese, but others as stated in our rules will be accepted), although personal communities are allowed without the theme requirements.

Note that manual approval for community/guild creation privileges is required to create communities as we don't want any random person to create any and possibly abuse the TOS.

Sakurasora Notice: There are some issues with the Account Manager for Sakurasora. However, you should be able to log into Bluesky and other AtProto apps in the mean time. I have filed an issue for Tranquil PDS so hopefully a solution can be found.

Sakurasora Notice: The account manager and login/signup page is now fixed. It was due to a misconfiguration in the host file that prevented the Tranquil server from getting the client metadata JSON.

After some effort, Sakurasora is finally updated to Tranquil 0.6.7, which should fix issues with authorizing some AtProtocol apps. #sakurajimainfo

21 Sept

Sometime next weekend, we will be performing maintenance on Sakurasora to update Tranquil to the latest version, which should fix some recent issues. #sakurajimainfo

We have received a rate increase on our servers, and we predict that our hosting costs will go up by $60 due to the obvious RAM and SSD crisis. Given the amount of monthly donations, this is not substainable in the long term. If you can, please consider making a monthly donation.
