Asked Claude 3.7 to build my son a game that it created. Almost nailed it on the first try. All the balls were in the top left corner. After some nudging it got it. Exciting to see that my son and I can create near infinite games for ourselves. Games special to us.

I just carried two books, a plate of cookies, glass of milk, glass of water, and NyQuil up two flights of stairs all while navigating two children's gates and didn't drop a damn thing or wake the kiddo! This should be the TRUE test for humanoid robots!!

I use copilot at work and cursor at home. Cursor composer is just so much better. That said, the Replit agent is also on par with Cursor. Maybe better in some ways. Particularly I like how Replit will summarize the ask and make a plan then ask if I want it to execute. Cursor just does it.

Enterprise shake up. 2025 will be when AI enters the enterprise workforce in a big way. We've all seen the layoffs. No confirmation of whether the layoffs are due to AI. This year we will very clearly see a large company lay off an entire division in favor of AI agents.

AGI breakthroughs - AI companies have suggested that they know the path to AGI. Conversations have shifted to how to solve ASI. Benchmarks are being adjusted to account for this new level of intelligence. 2025 will have many advances and my hope is it comes from players outside the AI magnificent 7.

China is here and they are messing things up for the US in a big way. DeepSeek R-1 was the first reasoning model they dropped. Then yesterday they released their Jasper models. They open sourced everything. US AI companies suggested China was 5 years behind - this is clearly not true anymore.

Reasoning Models are here and OpenAI isn't the only game in town anymore. DeepSeek R-1 is sending shock waves through the world right now not just for their research but US AI companies are now being devalued because of this. AGI will come from these models, so expect a lot more of these in 2025.
