#mcucrawl AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (2018). Marvel's 'Longest Day' in which we discover our heroes are brave, full of heart, but not terribly bright. Exceptionally executed with a string of memorable performances, most notably from Josh Brolin and Zoe Saldana. I knew the ending, it was still effective.

It's the cover where it looks like James Bolam is simply imagining all of ITV's autumn line-up

THRILLING BALCONY ACTION HERE THOUGH.

Very much enjoying how off-the-rails Weekend Update is going #snluk

Ha, I summoned this by posting the theme earlier in the week

Getting ready to wave goodbye to BST with my Chairman Mao watch

#mcucrawl BLACK PANTHER has been the best yet since I picked phase 3 back up. Genuinely stand-out from its stablemates, great performances from Boseman and Johnson, plus Danai Gurira as Okoye was my favourite.

Had to abandon a podcast due to gushing. Like that Blue Jam sketch.

RETURN OF THE JEDI (1983) - I fell asleep.

I always forget that while NORTH BY NORTHWEST (1959) is the prototype for Bond, it's Bond with his Mum in it.

Looking forward to this.

Because you’re a cunt.

I’ve signed this. You should too. #Radio4Extra

“In Our Time” is genuinely banger after banger after banger. I just wish the BBC wasn’t so coy about how many episodes they’ve made. Especially how the total count relates to the number ‘a thousand’

I am quietly delighted that the Christmas sandwiches are back in the Co-op. Nothing with cranberry for me though.

Keep pushing this guys. The people who love this station the most probably aren't chronically online like we are so we need to spread this about a bit you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/sa...

#mcucrawl continues with SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING (2017). V much enjoyed this, Holland gawky and determined, Keaton flinty and convicted. The right mix of crime vs high school. Knowing enough to include a John Hughes clip, but largely free of Whedonesque dialogue. Aunt May’s final exclamation 💯

Also finished s2 of the X-MEN animated series. The mutants team up with Magneto to defeat Mr Sinister and they meet pterodactyl-man Sauron. Unlike Spider-Man, they do not ask him about curing cancer.

Last night I started my Marvel catch-up properly with GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 2 (2017). Entertaining, but slight. Given 80s obsession, maybe could have subtitled it 'My Two Dads'. Everything with Groot was adorable, obvs.
