A quick flight 2: 37 minutes of AA 1070 DFW-AUS. Should be a nice and easy one. Sidebar: the Terminal A admirals club has such a nice work area at the back. Seriously top tier admirals club space I’ve ever been in.

Another Texas trip starts with flight 1: AA1839 DCA - DFW onboard a 737-800. For once I’m glad the upgrade didn’t come through. Cannot remember the last time I had a row to myself, let alone to DFW. Should be a very comfy 3 hours to DFW this morning.

I’m pretty sure Arlington changed the timing on a traffic light cycle on my normal bike route in Rosslyn. Not saying I’m the ONLY reason it was changed, but I did point it out to a vision zero group a few weeks ago that it could be improved for Custis Trail users. Taking that as a huge W #bikedc

Beautiful day for flying in the northeast, AA 1168 BOS - DCA on another A319. N742PS operating today, last time I flew this frame it was in the PSA retro livery.

Let’s try this again shall we? Little over two hour delay waiting for a replacement first officer, and it’s back on for DCA.

Nice surprise of a refit A319 on AA 1015 DCA - BOS this morning. Departing from the C gates means a quick stop at the smaller Admirals club, with some different sporting opportunities.

A really fun weekend in Connecticut - time to head home: AA5058 BDL - DCA on a CRJ-900. Unfortunately for me I was first loser (#6 when 5 cleared) so I’m in the exit row for the short hour flight back to DC

Quick weekend trip via AA5079 DCA - BDL onboard a 23-year old CRJ-700. I think these might be my least favorite AA aircraft. Two of the first three overhead bins are designated as crew only so row 1 pax have to swim upstream to store personal items. And of course, only a single lav in the back.

definitely not my least favorite thing is a DCA runway 4 departure - only my second time!

Final flight of this trip - AS 506 SAN - IAD, onboard a 737-MAX9 Completely full, oversold flight this morning. Even still EXP has me #5 on the upgrade list out of like 40 lol Should be a “relatively short” 4.5 hours today (for me at least on this trip)

After a very efficient connection, it’s back onboard for flight 2: CX 880 HKG - LAX, on a 777-300ER in the oneworld livery. In the mini cabin for this one. Sadly there was a line for a shower so I missed out this time. Excited to arrive the day before scheduled departure!

The Cathay F cabin looks soooo comfy. Not today, but maybe some day.

Quite a nice fight so far. These older seats are really comfy, but these IFE screens are truly horrible, essentially unusable on an overnight flight. Also, I will always think it’s weird to serve breakfast two hours prior to a 10pm arrival 😂l

Flight 1: CX 716 SIN - HKG, onboard an A350-900. 3 hours 20 minutes up to Hong Kong tonight, should be a good flight!

Leg 1 of the journey home begins back at Terminal 4, with a very late lunch in the Cathay lounge I am going to be such a wreck jet lag wise in California this weekend 🥲

Flight 3: CX 759 HKG - SIN. Scheduled as an A350, swapped to an A330-300 with an seating interesting configuration. 50 business seats, split into 8 lie flats and 42 recliners. I think emerald status helped me be one of the 8, albeit in a middle seat.

Flight 2: CX 875 DFW - HKG, on an A350-1000. Expected flying time is around 15:40. Even with slightly delayed push back (due to VIP movement), should be an early arrival. Looking forward to this one!

Flight 1: AA 1158 DCA - DFW, on a relatively young 9-year old 737-800. Should be a mostly smooth flight down to Texas tonight.

A long 30 hours of travel starts in the DCA concourse E admirals club. Should have a new longest flight by time on this journey, which is fun.

Go home day - flight 1: AA745 CPH-PHL onboard an American 787-8. 1 SWU cleared (companion into PE) while waiting 90 minutes in the EU exit line. Then gate agent tells us there’s very few meals available because of a strike, so back to a 7 eleven kiosk for sandwiches.

A couple notes: - departure is delayed by ~45 mins, so I have a good feeling that flight 2 will be northeast regional again - these zodiac seats continue to be absolutely wild. No privacy, absolutely no storage, the only plus is that the bed length is quite long. These need to go ASAP 🚮

One flight today: Eurowings 7581 PMI - HAM, onboard an A319 with dual overwing exits. Almost tried to board the wrong flight - EW flies wingtip flights on this route with very close flight numbers 😅

Quite a nice stay in the BA F lounge (airport shower #2 of 2026), it’s time for flight 2: BA 498 LHR - PMI, on an A320neo. I think this might be my first flight on a 320neo

Not where we planned to be tonight, but once again I’m on BA 292 IAD - LHR. Mechanical delays to Boston turned our Iberia transatlantic leg into BA. Long connection at Heathrow tomorrow before we get to Spain.

After an absolute ordeal trying to check some oversized sports equipment (BA rejected, UA accepted after ~90 mins of confirmation) … it’s finally time to fly. BA 292 IAD - LHR, on a 77W. In club world, behind the wing tonight. I’m ready for a good sleep on this one

DCA E Admirals club has a slightly redone food layout, with main items on the bar side now. It’s empty in here now but I love this change - better use of the space IMO

Go home day: AA 5132 IAH - DCA, on a CRJ-900 with the new cabin finishes. First impression is pretty nice, I like it. Upgrade cleared at the gate - should be a good flight.

Flight 2: AA 2214 PHX - DCA on an A321. For some reason, equipment swapped from a NEO to a CEO so my MCE window seat turned into an aisle. Doesn’t matter though as the gate upgrade came through 😎. Let’s go home.

Nothing quite like waking up at 2:30am to find your 5:00 departure delayed and connection already rebooked again 😐 Flight 2: AA2320 ORD-PHX on an A321. Currently first loser on the upgrade list so I’m in exit row 11A - excellent leg room and window view at least.

Flight 1.5: AA2152 MKE - ORD, on the same 737-800 that I’ve now been onboard for 6 hours now. Rebooked my onward flights for tomorrow, starting with a 5:00am departure ☠️

Already back at it: Flight 1 today, AA2152 DCA - ORD on a 737-800. Thursday afternoons must be absolute peak for DCA - admirals club was packed, and this flight seems very elite heavy. A middle seat in the exit row for me on this one.

One flight today: AA4766 IAH - DCA on a E175. Did same day confirmed changed yesterday and upgrade cleared right away. Only 30 pax onboard - heard the gate agent say “we have everyone” which blows my mind, I wonder how early others got to the airport this morning. Love me some shelf-stable AM/PM.

Eastbound today was longer airborne than westbound Monday 🤷‍♂️ On time arrival with a beautiful view of just pre-peak cherry blossoms 🌸

IAH terminal A screening currently 4+ hours as per PA announcement. Line extends all the way to the Marriot station on the subway thing.

Cannot believe I made my flight, literally with 2 minutes to spare - and that was including sprinting across the sky bridge from the south check point to A3F.
