I was lucky enough to illustrate for @jmcelroy.bsky.social's new book and here they are if you'd like to see them!
Amanda did the illustrations for the book and I canβt emphasize enough how lovely they are!

My god, Nordstrom is turning into an Aritzia/Simons/Uniqlo, it's like retail voltron
JUST IN... #Uniqlo will finally open a Downtown Vancouver flagship store. It will occupy a portion of the former Nordstrom at CF Pacific Centre mall, joining Aritzia and Simons. #vancre #retail dailyhive.com/vancouver/un...
Yep, a further piece of evidence for "people who would have said they were voting NDP (or have in the past) just didn't show up to vote" in numbers quite outside their historic norms bsky.app/profile/cudd...
The most difficult part is matching the sample to the population. The sample probably had a variety of voters, but as per your other data, the population of voters featured far fewer NDP voters than I bet the sample anticipated. (And as always their polling tends to not be truly random).

Programming note: here's our livepage for election night. At 730pm our broadcast will begin, and at 8pm polls close. I'll be providing results all night on the TV (focusing on Metro Vancouver) and the livepage (focusing on everywhere), with a written story at the end.
tapping this sign so hard at so many people this week
Getting this out of the way early: if you share vote prediction screenshots for individual ridings from election projection websites And frame it as a poll or something with authority And there has been no actual polling done in that riding I will think much less of you please don't annoy me
this month will be much more fun to look back at than it was to juggle everything in the moment, but 20 year old Justin would go βwait youβre complaining about what?!?β and itβs an incredible privilege that enough people like and trust me to have these opportunities but also i canβt wait for sleep
The joys of MCing an event for an author and taking questions and one of them is βcan you talk about how the media has some responsibility for the housing crisis, I read a CBC article about why Pete Fry won that didnβt mention affordable housingβ and youβre like βyeah thatβs my article, letβs goβ π
Itβs been north/south for decades and my eight year old story explains why! www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
