I'm really proud of this project. In my biased opinion, it's pretty good, and if you like playing with circuits you should check it out :) #gamedev #indiegame

Logic World is featured in Steam Programming Fest 2026! The game is discounted 33% for the next four days. Now is a great time to pick it up for yourself or your friends :)

Right now I'm working on both a Godot 3 project and a Godot 4 project. I couldn't tell the different engine versions apart on my taskbar, so I made this custom heart-eyes icon to distinguish them :) #godot #godotengine

My friend is reading The Murderbot Diaries by @marthawells.com, which inspired me to finally make this guide to the series. I'm pretty proud of this table. I tried really hard to make it easy to understand, since most sources for this information are pretty confusing.

There's now a version of this built-in to .NET, so I can finally delete some of the most cursed code I've ever written. Goodbye to this horrifying monster

Everything's AI garbage now. Blog posts, source code, documentation, articles, memes, youtube videos, job postings, book reviews, it's all become slop. I just encountered somebody's personal website with an "about me" section that was clearly generated by an LLM and it made me so sad.

It's not even just online. I've been to multiple coffee shops that had AI-generated logos. On a road trip we spotted a puzzle store and we were so excited to check it out, but ALL of the puzzles were of AI-generated images.

dd was originally written by Ken Thompson at Bell Labs. It was first released as part of Unix in June 1974. Today, dd is part of GNU. I'm using it right now to test a new hard drive for I/O errors. This program is more than half a century old.

I wonder if dd will still be in use in 2076? 2176? 3076? What does the far future of computing look like, and for how long will the Unix foundations of the 70s still be an active part of things?

I wish I could change the calendar system to make every month 28 days, starting on Sunday and ending on Saturday. We'd have 13 months, plus one day not part of any month (two days on leap years) I feel like this would fix a lot of the problems in the world

The more I work with #GodotEngine the more I love it. Everything is designed so thoughtfully and it's an absolute pleasure to use.

A full 6% of people who play my game use Arch Linux, which is wild to me because globally on Steam it's only 0.3%. I bet we have one of the highest Arch user percentages on Steam. Can anyone beat 6%? #gamedev #indiedev #linux #linuxgaming

Whenever I look up my old code I feel a warm fuzzy sense of connection to my younger self. I'm trying to solve a problem he already figured out, and he's happy to help me out and show me what I need to know.

Hot take: if I spend eight years and thousands of hours building a game, I've earned the right to share my opinion of whether people should play it. #gamedev #indiedev

A few weeks ago, I jokingly said I'd buy a pizza for the first person to get DOOM running in Logic World. A few absolute legends took that challenge extremely seriously and the race was on. I can scarcely believe it, but today, DOOM ran in Logic World for the first time

Gnog built a CPU in Logic World that implements RISC-V, hooked up a modded memory and display, then loaded up DOOM compiled for RISC-V, and somehow it actually works. Unreal. Congratulations Gnog. A pizza well-earned.

"I'll never forgive them for what they did to the computer." Big tech is a cancer. Their lust for infinite YoY growth will destroy everything if we don't fight back. Be gay, do crime, install Linux, host your own email, and never accept anti-human software when there are viable alternatives.

WHY would I want to AI summarize someone's PERSONAL MESSAGE and BEAUTIFUL FANART of my cat?? dear lord get this AI trash OUT im trying to experience humanity 😭

Finally finished Worm by Wildbow. Very good book. I started reading in late May. At ~1.6 million words, that means I read an average of over 10,000 words per day!

Our best update yet!

Logic World: The Subassembly Update is out now! This update represents over a year of work for us. It's the next step on our journey to make Logic World the best circuit-builder ever, and we're very proud of it :) You can read all about the update on our blog: logic.world/blog/the-sub...

Somehow in the last 8 years I went from stumbling through Unity tutorials to leading a small game studio. We just had the first ever full team meeting with all seven of us and the energy was incredible. We're gonna do great things.

It's good to be back!
