"Kindred Spirits" is a monument dedicated to the Choctaw people, expressing gratitude for the aid provided to the Irish during the Great Hunger and recognizing the common bond between two oppressed indigenous communities. The sculpture is in my grandmother's home town of Midleton, Co. Cork.

Morning :) Yet another Cork fountain (said they had a bit of a thing for them!) - this one was in the English Market, which was a brilliant arcade of shops selling fruit, veg, dairy and meat.
