There is someone walking around in the USA, maybe its someone in the middle class, or maybe someone really struggling. And that person bought a Powerball ticket for tonight, and its going to be the winner of 1.4 billion. I hope its a good person. I wish them well.

I’m not sure Harry Ford traded for a 3 month Josh Naylor rental is a deal I’d want to make. Instead, why can’t we have Harry AND Cal in the same lineup? Cal shouldn’t catch as much as he does. Or Harry should pick up a 1B glove. Now if Naylor would sign an extension, different opinion.

The Seattle Mariners will trade a lot of prospects to get a 1B like Ryan O’Hearn or Josh Naylor as a rental. Instead, I think they should put a 1B glove on Laz Montes and teach him that position ASAP.

If they ever decide to reboot The Rockford Files, I think Jon Hamm could play that part. And I LOVED the original. Hamm was seriously miscast as Fletch, but he’d be ideal for Jim Rockford.

The Trump Musk breakup is the best day of this Presidency. Hopefully it will amp up further. If Elon threatens to withdraw his support for Republicans unless they adios Trump, would they do it?

I don’t profess to have a full understanding of all the various issues we face right now. Some I do, some I don’t. But I know right from wrong and good from evil. I know that. And I will act, and vote accordingly.

I guess Trump wants us to buy “made in America” unless its the new Air Force One “made in Qatar.” What a fcking joke! And what idiots he must think we are. I bet there won't be any tariffs on that flying palace fit for a King.

The Double O book series written by Kim Sherwood, would make an excellent James Bond spin-off show for Amazon. The books focus on other members of the British Double O service. James Bond can still be in the movies unaffected by this series.

Garver should go. Harry Ford called up. I’m telling you right now Harry Ford would hit better than this. I’m not saying Harry would hit 300 or anything, but he would hit better than this.

If Mariners think it’s way too early to be hitting the change button, it’s not. We need hitters. Devers in Boston is likely available soon, maybe right now. Work on his D, put him at 3rd and let him hit.

So Spielberg has made movies about friendly aliens (Close Encounters/ET) and aliens trying to destroy us (War of the Worlds). What do you think he’ll do in his new UFO film next May?

Some of these tiny home designs are just outstanding, and costs make them affordable. But here’s the main problem, and it’s big. Land. We need people to develop tiny home communities, much like manufactured homes or trailer parks. There’s a big market for this out there, and getting bigger daily.

I’m hoping both the new rebooted X-Files and the original version can co-exist. Reboot could delve into all the weird stuff out there with a new team while the original could focus on Mulder finally finding his sister. Maybe with crossover help from new team. Double X-Files. It could work.

The Seattle Mariners have a second baseman playing 3B, an outfielder and a utility infielder playing 1B and nobody worth a lick to play 2B. And two overpriced way past their prime Mitch’s to DH. And we’re told this is a good team. Jerry Dipoto, while your nose is growing, take a bow.

Do you think Cal Raleigh, Logan Gilbert, George Kirby, Bryce Miller or Bryan Woo will sign extensions to continue to play for the Mariners? I don’t. I wouldn’t. I’d want to win. Boycott.

When the 2024 season ended, the Seattle Mariners had 3 important slots to fill - 1B, 2B and 3B. Those positions had plenty of available players - via free agency or trade. Good players. We have a farm system chalk loaded with prospects and 5 solid gold starting pitchers. We did nothing. Boycott!

If Dylan Moore is our answer at 2B, the Mariners are doomed. Heck, I’m not sure I even have that guy penciled in as our utility player anymore. He doesn’t hit.

All the prospects the Mariners have right now, they’re not all going to play for the big team Jerry. In fact, most of them will not. WTF are you waiting for? What’s the point of the strongest minor league system in baseball? I’m starting to think Jerry Dipoto is a hoarder. It’s mental.

Are the Mariners really happy with the roster they have right now? Is Julio really happy? Management did nothing to improve this team. A 37 year old and a guy they cut at last seasons end? I don’t think so.

Mariners latest disappointing move - re signing Jorge Polanco. Come on man, they cut this dude and now he’s the answer at 2nd base? I’ve never in 58 years of being a fan of baseball, been more upset at my home team. This management group SUCK.

Please Jerry Dipoto, I’m begging you - DO SOMETHING! Trade Castillo or trade Woo if you have to. Trade them both, we’ll still have the big 3 plus Emerson Hancock and Logan Evans. I’d risk it for the offense this team needs.

Dear John Stanton, come on man, open up a tad more budget. Your team is so close to a serious playoff run. You’ll make the money back in attendance and food and beer sales and merchandise. Not asking for Dodger spending, just a bit more.

Watching other less profitable than the Mariners baseball teams add major players to their rosters, while we do nothing. Even the Sacramento A’s are making moves. How must the current Mariner players be feeling?

Not only have the Mariners not gotten better, they’ve gotten worse. We cut our 2B and 3Bs with no replacements. Idiotic player management. They thought they’d get 2B Kim? Thought they had a chance for Ohtani and Sasaki too. Get a clue. Right now, no one wants to come to Seattle.

If I’m Jerry Dipoto, and I’m facing the meager budget given by ownership, I absolutely trade Luis Castillo to buy some financial flexibility. Not because I want to trade him, but because I have to to get the bats we absolutely need to compete. Too late now that ship has sailed.

Are there any moves left for the chincy Seattle Mariners to make? How will they look their fan base in the faces after this do nothing, pathetic offseason? If possible, we look worse on paper than when the season ended.
