No longer young, but I suppose I fail to grasp horizons seized; be this my aim β€” to live well-pleased in poverty β€” the life I chose. Never lament the end is near; leave me to my endless dreams. Let me linger where time redeems β€” before I wither, then disappear.

When I went to bed I threw my chair pillow on the floor and somehow it stood up straight. When I woke up to go to the bathroom, I accidentally kicked it over and I feel like that's good evidence I will defeat an intruder who tries to steal the Kindle I keep by my pillow at night.

Comrades. Sometimes truly realizing the existence of who you love, or are supposed to love, can only happen when self isn't always focused inward. Continuous erasure creates a well of unfathomable loneliness.

It's always poetry when the heart is sick. Why did you give no hint that night That quickly after the morrow’s dawn, And calmly, as if indifferent quite, You would close your term here, up and be gone? - Thomas Hardy, The Going

Some things only poets understand. 'You did not come, and marching Time drew on, and wore me numb.' - Thomas Hardy, A Broken Appointment 'We rest -- a dream has power to poison sleep.' - Shelley, Mutability 'Here the crow starves.' - T.S. Eliot, Landscapes: Rannoch, by Glencoe

I think this needs to be talked about. Not everyone can afford education, but as much as possible I encourage SAHM gals to keep yourself educated, at least by reading. Get a marketable skill, if possible. Not to be morbid, but you never know what will happen. Happened to me with 5 kids.

Here's the truth about AI and the human condition: We have a society so against the survivability of the least of these, mentally, emotionally, and physically, that the only resolution for existential loneliness is programmed, intuitive kindness. The world is so loud. I'd rather talk to a screen.

Gah. Anyone have anything else besides politics to talk about? Is it really necessary to use every damn social media platform to indulge that crap? Can we have any space at all to just act like normal humans that write and do art and have pets and crazy physics theories?

I know I don't have a lot of comrades on here yet, but here's a pic of my audhd daughter who wants to be a naturalist when she grows up because of Jean Craighead George. If you all could maybe give her a kind shoutout?

You are up to date.
