Food/grocery delivery should be a municipal service like garbage/recycling with no tipping and service provided by full time government employees with good benefits.

This guy's speed running his sun downing so that he is ruled too incompetent to stand trial.

I believe that I have stumbled across the best possible #Letterboxd backdrop image.

The only time I'll ever touch a Meta LLM is if it's powering the dystopian doom-bot that is plunging its murder spike through the base of my skull.

Sometime around 2024, I remember telling my non-technical friends that were deep in AI doom that I thought AI was actually going to be more punk rock than anything; used to rip down gates being kept by wealth hoarders who didn't realize what they were building was a foundry for infinite competition.

And here comes the decompilation train from Sony and Adobe to let my friends know that I was right. Choo-choooooooooooo.

Not sure if goats changed since I was a kid or if the Internet only has fucked up goats on it.

I just guessed exactly when the washing machine was going to make the last of its mechanical retching sounds before exiting the spin cycle. Might fuck around and guess when my toothbrush is going to shut its self off next.

I'm positive there are a ton of people who think Love Is A Battlefield by Pat Benatar is the main song in The Legend of Billie Jean (1985) and not Invincible by Pat Benatar. It can't just be me. This has to be a Mandela effect thing but — according to Google at least — I'm on the ground floor here.

Without saying your age, what is your favorite movie that came out when you were 20 years old

This post is unavailable.

A political party that leverages villains to maintain its power will never run out of villains. They start with the easiest and will eventually work their way to you.

It's interesting to see the wave of cognitive dissonance cresting online, wherein MAGA crowd fall over themselves to identify with Dolly Parton as their guiding light, when yesterday they were probably calling ICE to get an innocent family sent to a concentration camp.

My personal economic health indicator is the number of delivery drivers I see that look like super models. Why'd you break containment? What are you doing out here among the rest of us; the rabble, the detritus?

The AI hasn't won yet because Instagram feeds me so many sunglasses ads even though I literally never leave my house.

I don't want to believe we're in a simulation because if we are, we're probably simulating how to mitigate catastrophic climate change with technology, and looking around our political landscape, I'm pretty sure we're not in one of the winning scenarios.

In what case is ignorance the most blissful? I think it's animals not being able to speak. My cat is a terrorist and my dog eats puke without hesitation. I have absolutely no interest in their opinions.

Trying to copy and use a 2FA code in the last 3 seconds before it cycles makes me feel like Jason Bourne.

Spent the last couple of days rewatching The Last Dance. Remains the greatest sports documentary series of all time. I may be biased because I was a huge Bulls fan when I was a kid and watched every single game mentioned in the doc, including the regular season games, in real time. #Now

I hate it when I see AI pictures of dinosaurs because it makes it way harder to find real pictures of dinosaurs.

One of my favorite pastimes is getting myself snagged on the cryptids algorithm in IG reels and commenting on the videos sanely. Been at it for a couple of hours. #Now

I wish I could see some kind of a visualization to confirm which exact scenario led to my reels feed veering wildly into the portal people algorithm.

A lot of my IG reels feed is girls sitting on the floor, criss cross apple sauce, making loops with MIDI controllers. I think I'm old now because I'm mostly just worried about their backs. I don't think anybody would be mad if you got a table.
