My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Currently on season 2 and he kicked a car so hard the airbag went off and hit the guy in it. Watching a show where the main character has superhuman strength but the show itself refuses to admit it is endlessly funny

Season 1 Reacher was kind of a dry wit reluctant hero with a special set of skills while Season 2 Reacher is more of a giant serial killer with an insatiable bloodlust for people tangentially related to whatever happens to be going on with the plot. I see why folks say this is the least season lol

Just finished Birds of Prey vol. 1 and 2 by Kelly Thompson and really had a good time with them! Very fun, super cool action, great characterization. The fake “plate misaligned” coloring style is a little blurry but the art overall is spectacular, especially Leo Romero’s pencils. More Big Barda pls

Marvel bought the rights to Miracleman, a character popularized by British writer Alan Moore. Then turned some schmuck American into Miracleman leaving nothing but the costume of the og character in common with the character. Then they changed the costume into a much worse one. Why? To all of it.

As I said in the caption: with apologies for the artists/designers who has to redesign the costume by corporate mandate to make it more modern, that was a straight up impossible gig and you did the best you could given that
