Elon wants to go to Mars to exploit whatever is there for personal gain. He says it’s for humanity. Bullshit. DOGE cuts have killed 750,000 humans. Hobbling Starlink in Ukraine killed innocents to protect Russian data centers. Elon cares about things & himself, not humanity. He hates humanity.

If they rename New Mexico to New America, what are they going to rename New Hampshire to? If they rename everything America, we'll never know where we are. Maybe that's the point.

If we tax Elon Musk and his fellow billionaires appropriately, every child in America can have healthcare, education, and a well funded social safety net instead of some racist billionaire’s pathetic pr stunt

Elon Musk has said he will give every child in America a stake in SpaceX, his $2 trillion aerospace and artificial intelligence company, as tech firms face intensifying scrutiny over their impact on society. https://cnn.it/4yWTjTJ

Got this in the mail today. He actually thinks $90 is going to make a difference to people after all the $ he’s stolen from us? Won’t even offset the increased cost of a tank of oil. Using that $ to support Dem candidates to end this horror show.

In painting class yesterday the instructor told us to bring in our non-primary paints next time. A woman told him after class that she couldn’t afford the paints. I was there & offered her mine but she declined. People don’t want charity, they want to be able to afford paint.

Went shopping in Canada yesterday & got 2 boxes of Shreddies cereal, a box of granola cereal, a box of shredded wheat cereal, 2 baguettes, 4 croissants, & a large bag of Lay’s chips for $20 USD. Why are groceries so expensive in the U.S.?

My SIL turned me on to the iNaturalist app that identifies animals & plants. And even though it said one of my dogs was an alpaca, maybe a sheep, & my other dog was a hamster, I am off to explore my world. #Vermont

Today is #HobbitDay because Bilbo and Frodo Baggins were both born on September 22nd. Normally we'd shire a hobbit pun or two but it might just feel like a tolkien gesture and we don't want to embarrass our elves. Anyway it's a good day to come and boromir #Tolkien books. 📚
