I was just thinking I should replay Life is Strange: True Colors the other day. What a weird, fun little franchise that never quite got the acclaim it deserved.

The Carmilla boss fight in Belmont's Curse starts off pretty annoying but I think it's got one of the better ending sequences so far, damn.

The DNA of Mass Effect seemingly lives on in Exodus, at least, and Casey Hudson is doing Fate of the Old Republic with his own studio and LucasFilm Games, so there's some hope that these things Bioware did that gamers love will exist outside of EA's hateful, toxic grasp soon.

If you know me, you know that Mass Effect and Castlevania are two of my favorite franchises, so it's a bit of a whiplash to ride the high of a really stellar Castlevania and then get gutted by Mass Effect being killed off, likely forever. A colossal and shameful mismanagement of a prestige studio.
