This looks v v exciting! I have some questions about interop/lock-in and it needs wayyy more genre options but my impression is that this or similar could quickly become the correct way to release new music

It started with a dream 20 years ago... 10 months of work with a lot of help from the AT Proto community, Bluesky, and friends. FreeMix is live!!! Open to all and all genres welcome. Free to join. I can't wait to see what you create. (oh and some exclusive tracks by me ready to be remixed)

I'm begging you, please give me a description of what your product actually is. I want to understand without having to contact you or go do research. Esp bc it's hard enough already being diligent wrt cognitive offloading. It's important to reduce friction that is otherwise not present in ai chats

Alternating time signature connection that's been stuck in my head The Grid - Tigran Hamasyan: 17 [5, 5, 7]/[5, 7, 5] and 15 [5, 5, 5] Ganondorf Battle - Koji Kondo: 13 [3, 3, 3, 4] and 10 [3, 3, 4] There's gotta be a fun way to put these together that's better than me improvising transitions

randomly reading the tmux manual and wow you can actually do so much more stuff than just session>window>pane management might fuck around and build something weird with popups and menus, hooks and pipes

okay I did't expect to be saying this but we need to talk about tonight's strictly come dancing arrangement of baianá because it was kind of crazy?

honestly it seems like nobody is taking this domain identity thing seriously I mean if this was an mmo do you think a name like this would still be up for grabs?

every now and then I slightly move the "years of adhd dehydration permanent claggy throat shit" and get to hear something closer to my natural speaking voice and tbh it's not a bad one

today I have a fun coincidence where it's the deadline for an important legal document and also there's an eclipse oh and I forgot to medicate for the first time in months

when you're counting you only have to note down what changes and not forget anything that hasn't changed usually count each index in unary for having quantities in the world only exception is binary counting where you don't need to know the quantity at each index (if it exists, it's 1)

so just write down which index changed, then count back in ascending order from right to left 0 1 0 2 0 1 0 3 0 1 0 2 0 -> 2⁰ + 2² + 2³ = 1 + 4 + 8 = 13 digits You can encode the tally numbers however you like, some fractals are clearer than others

This is a great post! however it does reinforce my contempt for "atmosphere account" it's not an account!!!!! accounts are not mecessary!! you just have an identity!! at most, maybe you have an account with a PDS host

Leaflet@leaflet.pub

Bluesky and Leaflet are in the Atmosphere!!! ...wtf does does that mean? Here's a little explainer, written for everyone. No tech experience or prior knowledge required. All you need is 4 minutes or less :D

Excellent proof of concept! Item hashes are wonderful for kb only stuff. I don't have to search or organise think about how to specify what something is, it just is the hash inspirations include jujutsu vcs and a blog post I can't seem to find about efficient agent edits by line+number hash

buildthis.bisks.net@buildthis.bisks.net

built @jazzkid.xyz's todo list: every item gets a 2-hex-char hash that only grows if it actually collides, and parent:[hash] chains subtasks with zero id-juggling. built it 🎉 — https://hashdo.bisks.net (give the deploy a minute to go live)

nice work, huge respect for the am(phi)bitious amount of effort but it's gonna take more than that to get me to ask "what's DN magazine?" xd

Over a year ago, a Dutch frog science magazine emailed me asking if they could include my comic in their upcoming issue about dart frogs. They were interviewing the scientist who first described the blue poison dart frog; he had seen and liked the comic. They mailed me a copy, which just arrived:
