In January we are rerunning The Remote Facilitator Practitioner (US & CET time zones) lnkd.in/dR25BUXe. As a response to the increasing number of people paying for their own learning and development, we have dropped the prices. It's the same content and practical activities, just at a lower cost.

If your goal this year is to read more books, remember: you don’t have to finish every book you start. If you’re halfway through and can’t stand the characters or just don’t care what happens, it’s okay to put it down. Life’s too short to read books you don’t love!

I spent my first day of leave redoing my website. It was a lot of fun problem-solving and figuring things. I don't really know what I'm doing in design and other things, so that might be the next problem to dig into. For now, I'm satisfied that it's an improvement from before www.jayallenmorris.com

It also covers what to do in hybrid spaces. You don't have to be a facilitator to experience the benefits. Maybe you do online coaching, mentorship, workshops or simply are often the one running meetings and you want to know how to make it more engaging and impactful.

My fellow ADHD people, the health app on iOS is magical for remembering meds. I’m new to this medication game but the reminders have been so helpful especially because it will ping me later on if not logged. I also have a checklist for leaving the house so I don’t forget things. Mornings are chill 🧊

I don’t use Spotify just because I prefer a different music app. A lot of my friends and people online have been complaining about their Spotify wrapped this year. Part me wonders how much the layoffs had to do with it. Or did they they try some AI this year 🤔

Every time I wear these more than one person gets excited and asks me where I got my laces. It’s proof that everyone wants to have fun and “growing up” is filled with myths. For the record it’s kids laces from Dischem

Back on Bluesky after quite a break. Apparently if you list your interests the algorithm will pick it up. Here goes nothing: TV (incl streaming, films & UGC) South Africa Football ⚽ Rugby Scuba Anti-imperialism Socialism Old guy music History Wildlife & birding Science & tech Trivia & obscure facts

Coming on @bsky.app feels like coming back to a familiar place I haven’t visited in a while, and also changed for the better. I missed writing short random things and reading short interesting things but Twitter/X just wasn’t a place I wanted to hang out anymore

I have been affected by layoffs twice since 2019 and I don’t expect that to be the last time in my career. As I see more and more layoffs happening globally, something has been stirring inside of me to offer support to others who are affected.

There are two types of people at the airport. Those that queue early and look eager and those that sit and scoff. I will be at the front of the queue if I can, been burnt way too many times with the overhead getting stolen ✈️

I just recently learned about Nancy Kline's work (delayed I know) and chose to write a paper on the Thinking Environment and I fell in love! I'm wondering now how it lands with neurodiverse peeps. There are parts I struggle with.
