Jamie Ager

My name is Jamie Ager. I'm a father, husband, farmer, and proud son of Western NC. And I figured, if I'm gonna run for Congress, I should introduce myself and tell you why I'm running. #ncpol #wnc #nc11

My opponent can’t win on the issues or the truth, so she’s turned to fake, AI-generated ads. Western North Carolina voters deserve better. I got into this race to do politics better, and I’ll continue to run on my mountain values and delivering results for Western North Carolina.

I had another meet and greet in Burnsville yesterday! Good conversations, great neighbors, and a wonderful time. #WNC #NC11

Western North Carolina deserves a leader who will show up, listen, and actually care. Our political system is drowning in partisanship and noise. Folks I talk to are craving earnest leaders who care about their community and want to solve big problems for hard working people. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

I spent last night in Mars Hill meeting with students and neighbors who've called this place home for years. Thank you to everyone who showed up! #WNC #NC11 #WesternNC

It was a privilege to vote early with my family. In the greatest country in the world, we get to choose who represents us, and that’s worth showing up for. Make your voice heard in early voting or on Election Day. Voting info: nc.gov/living/voting #NC11 #Vote

I’ve run a farm operation for over 25 years. Raising cattle, chickens, and pigs, making sure they’re well cared for, making sure the business succeeds, is my livelihood. Coming from a farm is one thing. Actually running one day in and day out is a whole different experience. #NC11 #WNC #Farmer

Another great evening in Hendersonville! Hundreds showed up to talk about the issues that matter to them. I love hearing from folks in the community. #WNC #NC11

I had a great weekend traveling around WNC! I toured Ascendum Machinery in Mills River, visited the Apple Harvest Festival in Waynesville, hosted a meet and greet in Cherokee, and chatted with folks in Sylva. It’s always wonderful to meet so many great Western North Carolinians. #NC11 #WNC

I'm a patriot who has always been a partner to the land, my community, and Western North Carolina. It’s these deep-rooted values that I'm going to bring to Congress. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

Early voting starts today! We have an opportunity to vote for the people we want to lead this country. Make your voice heard for Western North Carolina. Find your polling site at vt.ncsbe.gov/evsite. #NCpol #NC11 #WesternNC

Thank you to everyone who joined me yesterday at Asheville Yards for an amazing concert and rally! We had over 3,000 folks come together to celebrate some wonderful artists and join the campaign we're building. #NC11 #AshevilleYards #WNC

Today is National Farmer's Day! As a fourth-generation farmer, I know how hard it is to run a small business, especially when four companies control 85% of the beef industry. I will fight for policies that give small farms a fair shot to thrive here in Western North Carolina. #SupportSmallFarms

Join our team by being a poll greeter! Poll greeting is a key way to contribute to the campaign. Learn more and sign up today at Jamie4NC.com/PollGreeter #NCpol #NC11 #WesternNC #Vote

I had a great time in the Far West! I spent the day in Bryson City and Murphy hearing from Western North Carolinians on what matters most to them. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

Western North Carolina's natural beauty is irreplaceable. Data centers strain water resources, raise utility bills, and cause noise pollution. I support a 1-year moratorium on new data centers because these facilities are not good neighbors. #NC11 #WNC #DataCenters

I had a great time walking in the Cherokee Indian Fair Parade yesterday. Proud to celebrate the culture and history of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians with this community. Thank you for welcoming me! #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

Another day, another great county. I spent the day in Madison County, where I started the morning with a meet and greet at Spring Creek Community Center and ended the day with a rally at the Old Marshall Jail Hotel. Thanks to everyone who came out! #WNC #NC11 #WesternNC

I spent the day visiting Bat Cave, one of the Western North Carolina communities hit hardest by Hurricane Helene. We need a fighter in DC who'll bring real support to rebuild our small towns, so no community gets left behind. #WNC #NC11 #Helene

I had a great weekend! I started Saturday morning meeting with the Buncombe County Farm Bureau Women's Committee. Then, I spent the afternoon in Hendersonville for Farm City Day before ending the night in Leicester for a meet and greet. And today, I met with folks in Bat Cave. #NC11

I spent another great day in Henderson County! I stopped in Tuxedo for a meet and greet, and then grabbed a drink with folks at Dry Falls Brewing in Hendersonville. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

At Hickory Nut Gap, we're proud to raise and source local beef. Americans deserve to know where their food comes from, which is why I support mandatory country-of-origin labeling. #NC11 #WNC #COOL

I had a good visit in Canton for a meet and greet with folks there. This town has been through so much since Helene. Every time I'm here I'm reminded how much strength and resilience is in this community. Thank you to everyone who came out to talk with me. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

Amy and I host barn dances every month. In Congress, I'll bring that same Western North Carolina spirit as I take on corporate greed, lower costs for families, and fight for our Helene recovery funds. It's time we turned things around. #NC11 #WNC #NCpol

It’s been two years since Hurricane Helene tore through Western North Carolina. While the damage was devastating, the way this community came together to rebuild has been even more powerful. It is still a long road ahead, but we're in it together. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC #HurricaneHelene

Western North Carolina's public lands are one of our greatest resources. I’ll always fight to protect our access to hunt, fish, and hike. On National Public Lands Day, let's appreciate the beauty of Western North Carolina. #PublicLandsDay #WNC

Good to be back in Old Fort for a meet and greet. Thanks to everyone who stopped by! #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

I’m a farmer and an entrepreneur, which taught me how to lead, how to be humble, and how to execute, not just talk about big ideas. Right now, this country needs leaders in Washington who will roll up their sleeves, work hard, and fight for Western North Carolina. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

It was another wonderful evening in Henderson County! I enjoyed great conversations over a beer with folks at Oklawaha Brewing Company. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

Enough corporate greed. Enough self-serving politicians. Mountain families deserve a leader who won't follow the Washington herd. #WNC #NCpol

Thank you to everyone who came out to the meet and greet in Hayesville. I enjoyed talking with folks about affordability and rooting out corruption in DC. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

Farmer, local business owner, and NC-11 House candidate Jamie Ager took the Political Integrity Pledge to: - Reject corporate PAC $$ - Support a stock trading ban + hold no individual stocks while in office - Support a lobbying ban for former members - Support overturning Citizens United

Thank you to everyone who came out to our barn dance in Henderson County! It’s always great to spend time with the wonderful people of Western North Carolina. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

I had the privilege of hosting a barn dance in Spruce Pine this evening. Nothing better than kicking off the weekend with a square dance! #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

The government's job isn't to track private citizens. All across Western North Carolina, I keep hearing the same concern: people don't trust Flock & Axon cameras that watch their every move. We need real guardrails before this technology outpaces our constitutional rights. #WNC #NCpol #NC11

It was great to spend yesterday meeting folks in Cashiers, Highlands, and Franklin! I had some important conversations about what matters most to the Far West. #WNC #WesternNC #NC11

What a celebration at the Goombay Festival! I had a great time spending the afternoon soaking up the music and culture that make this community so vibrant. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC

I had the privilege to visit the North Carolina Mountain State Fair on opening day. As always, it has great food, fun rides, and a lot of well-deserved recognition for our local farmers and vendors. Keep an eye out for a cutout of me with one of my cows from Hickory Nut Gap. #NC11 #WesternNC

I join all of Western North Carolina in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives taken from us 25 years ago on September 11, 2001. Today, we also honor the courage of first responders who rushed into harm’s way that day and bravely risked their lives for others. We will never forget.

Diesel just hit a record high. When fuel prices spike, so does the cost of everything else. WNC needs someone fighting to lower costs across the board! #WNC #NCpol #NC11

When Helene tore through our community, Amy and I didn't think twice about opening our doors and sharing what we had with neighbors who lost everything. Leadership isn't about which side of the aisle you're on. It’s about showing up when it matters. That kind of trust you can't buy. #WNC #NCpol

I had a great Labor Day marching in the Canton Labor Day Parade and the King Apple Parade at the NC Apple Festival. It was great to spend the day celebrating with folks from both communities and honoring the hardworking people who keep Western North Carolina moving. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC #LaborDay

Western North Carolina is built by hardworking folks who show up every day. This Labor Day, I'm grateful for the people who keep our communities thriving, our farms growing, and our economy strong. Happy Labor Day! #NC11 #WesternNC #WNC

The Hellbender Festival in Spruce Pine was a great way to spend the day. From the music to the local vendors, it's a great reminder of what makes Western North Carolina so special. #NC11 #WesternNC #WNC

I started the morning with pancakes and good company at the Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast in Hendersonville, and ended it with a drink at RAD Brewing Co in the River Arts District. It’s always a good day when I'm talking with North Carolinians, whether over pancakes or a beer. #NC11 #WNC
