I'm making a cozy game and I need your help! My dream is to spend 2027 focusing on creating a small world in my art style for you to enjoy alone or with friends. I'm preparing a Kickstarter to buy me time to do that — link in replies, please click 'Notify me' & share with others!

I don't have a demo in Steam Next Fest but look at this little world I'm making for your desktop

Today I've been figuring out an island design to commit to, this is me sketching on some basic renders. I did replace the second jetty with a beach, not sure if I'll find room for the sea stairs or the boat but think they'd be pretty cool

My other game (A Peaceful Place) still very much a thing but I want to launch something smaller and sooner whilst I have a bit of spare time between jobs. In my dream world it would buy me much more time sooner to focus on gamedev/art generally, which is otherwise difficult atm

For this reason (time/money) I have a Kickstarter for my other game. A successful Kickstarter will need a lot of time/effort and I'm thinking for now to spend that time on a smaller idea instead. Best case it removes the need for the Kickstarter at all, worst case I've made and launched a game!

This is a quick visual prototype/test of an idea I had using existing static placeholders. The plan is your character will potter around the scene doing stuff that accumulates points that can be spent customising character/scene. Will be an idle game / desktop companion — multiplayer planned also

It makes me so happy to put ideas up on Gumroad and have people actually buy them AND take time to submit reviews (100% 5 star reviews!) — thank you all! Use W2G45IY to get 10% off everything til the end of this week — phone wallpapers, process video and more, links in replies!

I was getting some inspiration on Pinterest and spotted multiple examples of my own work being labelled as 'AI modified' — my art doesn't use any AI! 🚫 If you want to know more about how I make my work, link in replies to a section on my website that explains it!

Been working on a new island design for my game today. I would really like to ship something playable on itch next to give people a taste of what I'm trying to create, trying to figure out a good shape of world for that to take place in

I'm doing this as a kind of sketch in Blender (I exported the above with some post effects just for fun) and will keep on doing things like carving out ponds, adding basic waterfalls, bridges/walkways, buildings, anything that helps build up confidence before going back to Godot
