I post things. Dual club wanker. Bees and Mags for my sins. Ditched the bot-ridden carcass of Twitter - I was Kylerants on there. Also my PSN if you're a gamer. Other half of @wendigo.bsky.social

You know in The Eternals comic, where the Deviants are trying to kill an Eternal? Finding it very difficult, they try & superheat him down to carbon atoms in a special tank. Yeah, well someone was using that method at work to cook a piece of fucking toast & we all had to go stand in the rain... ๐Ÿ˜ถ

Have spent a substantial part of Saturday arvo cleaning old job bits from the PC, mainly uninstalling apps unused for 5 or 6 years. Also found CCTV of Peregrines at Charing Cross hospital, exports of Emily Maitlis talking about 'that' interview, plus memes & misc pics. A total medley of hording. ๐Ÿ˜†

Proper satisfying deleting and purge, hopefully the ailing machine actually runs a bit better now but I'm not counting on it.

So many people I've worked with in telly over the last *cough* two decades seem to all be in the same building at the moment. Whilst this is an inevitable consequence of most of the post houses going under, it does give the place a slightly surreal dream vibe. Or a purgatory waiting room energy.

Just saw some boomer defend Lee Hurst online with the glorious claim: 'he's a multimillionaire so obviously doing something right, not my favourite comedian but he's obviously liked as he's been around decades and still on TV and selling out shows....' ๐Ÿค”

Is the Torygraph just shadow written by the ERG amd/or some irritable drunks at 55 Tufton St these days? It fell off a cliff a while ago but it's now just absolute lunacy in 2026.

On a completely random note, something I worked on ages ago (and subsequently got an unexpected decent credit on)... has now been nominated for an Oscar. To go with it's previous BAFTA win. ๐Ÿ™‚ Dayum.

My body was ๐Ÿ”ฅ when I was 32 - 34. It's not exactly a middle aged monstrosity these days, but the stomach is nothing like it was here.

Haven't listened to Buckles for a while so have been pretty spoiled on my (admittedly short) commute this week. I love all these people.

Radical changes for Hornicek Randipole FC. Wildcard played... and not just in response to the Coventry debacle. ๐Ÿ˜

The cavalier nature of Jaissle ball is only going to work if we're clinical. As we very much were against, say, Spurs and Liverpool. That Coventry debacle could have been an uncomfortable but ultimately cheery 4-2 win, instead it comes across like an absolute romp for the blues. Profligate AF.๐Ÿซฃ

Brentford have accrued a squad of surprising depth and options despite consecutive summers of doom mongering by media and pundit alike. Several of these would still walk into a lot of sides..

Although I was vaguely aware of the Marvel adaptations of Star Wars films whilst growing up... TiL (Via Den of Geek) just how weird and vast their other adaptations went... ๐Ÿซจ

Felt overindulged this morning and was on the fence about whether or not to go out tonight for the football this afternoon. Fortunately decided on ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟmatch at home with just the 2 glasses of wine (It merited happy drinking), takeaway curry, then a film double bill. Blissful and the right choice.

Went to Baltazar for a glorious Caberet themed dinner. There was an amazing singer and frankly gorgeous dancers. The food was pretty good too.

Soulm8te was brilliant. As much as I love both M3gan films, this was the most out and out horror film of the three and still feels like even more of a timely anti AI screaming warning than the previous two films in that universe.

Also, during this international break, I'm gonna take a moment to ponder why I still post so much on Fetlife. That's kinda Flashback Friday related too in that I occasionally post pics from various points over the last decade and a half. Again I don't know why. Bit of an OCD offshoot I guess.

Seen in the Shoreditch wild today... had no choice but to meme this travesty. If it's supposed to be Hugo and not Bart... well it's still awful. ๐Ÿซฃ

Been chipping away at various uncompleted bits on Hollow Knight. I'm not masochistic enough to try and platinum it or anything but I'm shocked at some of the parts I've got through. Almost kidding myself into giving Returnal another go after some of the mini feats on this. ๐Ÿ˜†

Whenever we get drunk, we occasionally end up watching a Queen video... and I forget that I digitised every single one of these things from tape for them. ๐Ÿ˜† Every Queen video you watch with their branding...

... I loaded from a tape and turned into the video file for their channel that will live on until we die. It was an inconvenience at the time, now it's kinda cool. 'Digitally remastered.' Kinda. Technically, but yeah.

'I see boat people...' These people are insane. I honestly don't think about 'small boats' during the month unless some tedious story/commentator/grifter is thrown at me, on TV or FB. People like Brett probably have it occupy most of their waking thoughts. Like it's an existential threat. ๐Ÿซฃ

Oh my gawd... this comes out this week and it looks as unhinged as you'd hope. The Muppets take The Marvel Universe. ๐Ÿ˜

We over celebrated that sumptuous Bees win last night. As a result we really haven't gone very far today. It's a nice feeling to not have to. However, we have an inkling to watch Transformers '86 in the cinema tomorrow. I last saw it on the big screen as a tiny person 40 years ago. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

The Bees second(ish) string team already looks so comfortable in the cup this season. And tbh, Wilson has looked sharper than Thiago. ๐Ÿ˜ถ Still confused watching this tie, with what is essentially three potential first choice left backs on the pitch... at the same time. I know KLP is in midfield.

Matthew Rhys with a double Emmy win, for two different series. I'm glad he's properly getting the plaudits now. Widows Bay series 2 also confirmed. Yuss!
