Copenhagen (L) to Cardiff (R). After missing the North Macedonia demolition, the Bosnia play-off, then breaking my arm after the NI friendly 😩 it was great to enjoy a night at the CCS! Also bumping into the only Norwegian I know in the Owain Glyndwr. Cracking night. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

"HOW MUCH TAX IS TOO MUCH?" Jeeeesus Have I been really annoyed by every aspect of the marketing of this film? Yes. Am I going to watch it at the earliest opportunity? Also yes.

Ordered a couple extra books from Oxfam to get the most out of delivery costs. Welcoming this lad into my house and hoping he enjoys sitting on the shelf for many years to come 👍🏻

Memory of the 1999 eclipse: Running to my dad and his mate to tell them that I could see it reeeally early in the day (I genuinely could - I cupped my hand over my eye, peeped through a tiny gap and I could see the very early stages), they didn't believe me, laughed, told me not to be daft etc

Denmark away ticket purchased. Most expensive non-tournament away ticket in my 16 years football travels (Ireland 2018 a close second?). Both in the region of £50. No excuse for either. #walesaway

Farmer Phil's 2026 done! Here's me looking like a grumpy bastard while playing my GS2 (bumped up from the reserves while the Graduate is in for repairs on a dodgy input).

The racist Argentina team can (of course) get in the bin, but also... I've seen Wales play both Argentina and England at home. Only once have I seen Nazi salutes in the away end.

It's true, I've seen a load of accounts tonight that I once followed on that blooming old bird app. As if tonight could get any better 🙏🏻

Trying to imagine Carwyn Jones on the blower to Michel Platini trying to overturn Aaron Ramsey's suspension for the Euros semi final against Portugal which was TEN YEARS AGO TODAY 🤯🤯🤯 What a load of shite (on top of an already impressive pile), may the Belgians put them to the sword tonight 🙏🏻

Ten years on from Wales v Slovakia in Bordeaux. Wearing the shirt I wore in the stadium that day, complete with kebab stain acquired after the final group game in Toulouse. Bonus visible nipple due to the fact that I'm apparently no longer of medium build...

Liverpool to Cardiff via Knighton tomorrow. Would love to know how many fans/idiots are off to Wales v NI tomorrow having not been to the Bosnia game... 🙋🏻‍♂️

Still on fb 🤮 for music purposes. The amount of stuff I'm shown now pushing right wing shite has really ramped up. Posts from Republican senators defending ICE and Trump, the Cato Institute with anti-universal healthcare memes. All with the one-click option to follow...

Depressing that mainstream conversation re melting polar ice caps has moved from "WE NEED TO STOP THESE ICE CAPS MELTING" to "how will Russia/China/America make use of new fossil fuels and shipping lanes that open up when ice caps (which lets face it, are a pain in the arse!) finally melt." #R4Today

Wikipedia rabbit hole made me think of Rufus Hound for the first time in ages. Thought to myself, man I haven't thought about him for ten years. Then thought, "this is like when you remember The Game", therefore lost The Game. Happy new year everyone 🥳

Indeed. I just hate that we’re in a timeline in which support and empathy for marginalised groups is deemed extreme while hatred and disdain for those same groups garners support and air time on political/news programmes

The BBC article on the budget is reeeeeeally pushing a narrative. People being "dragged" (their choice of vocab) into higher tax thresholds. Playing upon ignorance of progressive taxes... also "mansion tax" might CAPTURE homes in expensive areas. Boo fucking hoo.

PS still think the current iteration of the Labour Party can do one.

I shouldn't be shaking with anger and fear when I arrive for work in the morning but I was yesterday. I got "close passed" by a lorry on Smithdown Road (Liverpool) and it was bloody terrifying.

Even with this short journey, which I only make once or twice a week, more often than not there's *something* that puts me off ever doing it again. I can normally just ignore the abuse and dodgy overtakes but yesterday really did take the piss.

... mobile phone use or just general shit driving. Either way, one false move by either of us as he passed and I could have been knocked off, injured, maybe killed like Keith Hornby was, tragically in Huyton last week.

I'm a purely functional cyclist, I only really do it to commute on the days I work in south Liverpool as the 3 mile journey is 15 minutes whether I go by bike or car and I like the fresh(ish) air in the mornings.

Without a doubt, the driver could see me well ahead of him staying in lane to continue straight after the railway bridge, I don't know if it was punishment for having the audacity to filter past him to the bike box at traffic lights about half a mile earlier ...

Finally got through all 8 hours of the Let It Be doc in a few late night sittings. An absolute joy. Been on the to-do list for a while, all it took was having a baby. Who knew there was an entire extra half day to be enjoyed, it's just called night time?!

Agreeing with my wife that moving my foot would be too much of a disturbance for this little guy and that as a result, she is responsible for all drink replenishment.

Characterising equality initiatives as “‘actually, we're about anti-whiteness'” is the kind of thing Musk and Trump do. This is far-right framing from Streeting, and has no place in any mainstream political party in the UK, let alone the ostensibly left-wing(!) one
