The Witch King, Lord of the Nazgûl, riding a fell beast. A kit-bashed figure created years ago, part of a 6mm LotR army. #Nerdlings #FindFolkFriday

Is this profoundly dispiriting for the Federal agents? Because I hope this is profoundly dispiriting for the Federal agents.

Incredible video from Reddit (too large to upload the screencap). CBP agents attempt to detain a flower vendor and end up getting chased into a vacant lot by a crowd of teenagers. What a bunch of impotent sad sacks. www.reddit.com/r/EyesOnIce/...

I’ve got a mean green mother from outer space. It was sculpted using green stuff, so it kinda fits the theme twice?

Morning all, the weekend is upon us once again. You know what that means. This week the theme is…green. So let’s see green things. As usual I’ll repost the lot and if you like something, share it! #Nerdlings #FindFolkFriday

Was out of town and missed last Friday’s theme. Here are some very short dudes—6mm scale dwarves. #miniatures #nerdlings

Hell of a week, huh? We deserve a treat so this week the theme is… freestyle So let’s see anything you want to show us. As usual I’ll repost the lot and if you like something, share it! #Nerdlings #FindFolkFriday

Here’s the entire diorama. It started as an attempt to improve my technique in blending and highlighting skin tones. Once I finished the orc figure, I thought it would look nice set in a tropical rain forest diorama, with the orc as a hunter. #miniatures #nerdlings #dioramas

A story in miniature (or how a small exercise in learning some new painting techniques grew out-of-control) This is Krelbor, an orc of the Skeedrow clan. Krelbor is a hunter. 1/4 #miniatures #nerdlings #dioramas

I ended up going down the rabbit hole with the plants. Some are scavenged plastic plants from an old aquarium and others bought on sale from Michaels. There are some plants from my yard and others crafted out of green stuff. The monster himself falls into that last category.

Krelbor knows the habits of the fierce beasts that roam the forest. His knowledge has allowed him to hunt safely for many seasons. He has spotted his prey and is reaching for an arrow to shoot. 3/4

But there are horrors in the forest that do not walk on four legs. Krelbor’s focus on his prey may cost him dearly. 4/4

Krelbor must venture into the forest to hunt. It is dangerous, but he must hunt to feed his family. 2/4

Always happy to pull out some of old stuff. Especially since the new stuff is going so slowly. These are some of the first fantasy minis that I painted. Dwarves of Strong Visage from Custom Cast, circa 1976. #nerdlings #prehammer #miniatures

I’ve been reminded it’s Friday (thanks @owolf.bsky.social) So this week the theme is…memory. Let’s see those blasts from the past. As usual I’ll reskeet the lot and if you like something, share it! #Nerdlings #FindFolkFriday

Had dinner once with Gunnar Hansen, the actor who played Leatherface in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. My wife was working for the company publishing his book, Islands at the Edge of Time; A Journey to America's Barrier Islands. He was the nicest guy and utterly unlike his character in the movie.

Finally getting some photos of my minis posted. These are To-Tanem warriors, children of Ptah, made for the game WarGods of Aegyptus. I painted them a while ago but am just now getting decent pictures of them.
