I play Dungeons & Dragons on Adventure is Nigh! I watch bad movies on Best of the Worst. I perform Improv Comedy at Comedy Sportz. And somehow, I still think I’m pretty cool.

ABBOTT: Japanese developers today have unique names, like FromSoftware COSTELLO: From what ABBOTT: FromSoftware COSTELLO: I thought you said it was from Japan ABBOTT: It is COSTELLO: But what's the name of the developer ABBOTT: FromSoftware COSTELLO: The Software's From Japan, though ABBOTT: Yes

I think any critisism of "Digger" (2026) is valid and understandable. But, gosh darn it, I love a weirdo movie with a big message and tiny fake airplanes!!!

I really liked Lanterns. Great story, good character arcs, quality acting. I would have loved a little more action and also… apparently we need to keep tapping this sign!!!

You know that shitty beat that plays after AI edited slop shorts? We've all doom-scrolled and heard it... Did you know that that beat has it's own genre?! "Drift Phonk", which is a sub-genre of "phonk".... 2 real genres! Part of the joys & terrors of having teenagers is learning things like this.

UUuuuuugg. Here it is, the most modern of 1st world problems. There's only 1 YouTuber making explainer content for for an INCREDIBLY NICHE subject.... and they SUCK at presenting information and editing!

I think Resident Evil (2026) is dumb, silly, and full of videogame logic. (complimentary) Overall, I liked it but it does biff something so bad that that biff is all I'm thinking about. So I give it a resounding "meh".

Part of me is sad that this story arc is ending, but I'm also immensely grateful that it was able to reach an actual conclusion after The Escapist's demise. Even having never watched any D&D-based stories before, I cannot recommend this series enough. Easily one of the best things on YouTube.

Tomorrow's episode is not the finale of the season... but it does have "Big Finale Episode Energy". Just 2 episodes left in this whole story arc for Adventure is Nigh! Watch Here:

I am once again asking everyone to please check out the best #DnD show on the internet. This is out now and is one of the best episodes of an already excellent season.

I beat Baldur's Gate 3! In total: 252 hours and 3 attempts over the past 3 years. 85 hours in this last one alone! (a pure Wizard playthrough) Now, I always liked this game but now seeing most of it... it's somehow so much better than I thought it would be. The hype is real and deserved.

Being a D&D enjoyer, I did feel a bit of pressure to play BG3 and that did make me come at it with a healthy amount of skepticism. But it's story! AND (most importantly) my involvement in that story is what made every decision impactful. Combat always felt challenging and the outfits were great!

I will be replaying it and making some purposefully different choices to see more of what missed this first time. Like, there's fish people in the underdark... what????? I look forward to seeing more of this weird and beautiful world.

It's not a perfect game. There was so much jank both intended an unintended. Like, when do you WANT ME to use mage hand?!?! But it was worth it. Here's a shot of something weird that happened a few times. My character got jettisoned from the planet and could do nothing but load a previous save.

There’s a moment at the beginning of Coyote VS Acme where Wyle E Coyote is in a ditch with the Road Runner looking over him. A bomb drops and the RR runs away before it lands… exploding the Coyote. A young kid in the audience turns to his dad and says: “Why didn’t he help him?!!”

Most of my cuts to Adventure is Nigh! boil down to "the players over-explain what they're about to do". Making plans, explaining combat... Because we can just show what they did... or what they failed at. So Ep 7... being mostly combat and making plans means I cut nearly an hour and 45 minutes!!!
