As I've said, this is either an impeachable offense that Democrats act on or it's a new precedent.

None of us should forget this. Meta should be subjected to corporate death penalty and permanently broken up into small pieces.

Having to ask traitor #Musk to reinstate #SpaceX has doomed the Company's international contracts with Canada, the EU, India and quite a number of Asian Countries. 2 BILLION potential customers lost, just to help Russia's Putin.

This is appalling, illegal, immoral, and 500 other things, by a private citizen who is not even in the same universe as the chain of command.

Yikes. An embarrassing moment for Sen. Dan Sullivan. Sullivan falsely accuses Mary Peltola of getting debate questions beforehand because she is doing a better job than him. Peltola then drops the hammer: “I’m prepared!”

Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.

The largest GOP donor is interfering in Ukraine to benefit Vladimir Putin and Russia's brutal war. Maybe Republican candidates should be asked if they support that?

NEW: Ukrainian troops were caught off guard by restrictions on Starlink satellite internet systems that disrupted frontline operations, as Kyiv received no advance warning from its partners of a Russian missile attack on its energy facilities for the second day running, Ukrainian officials tell me.

An important note on the awful, awful, awful Paramount-WB merger settlement: Latham & Watkins, O'Melveny, Covington & Burling, Fried Frank, Winston Taylor, and Wilkinson Stekloff: YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. Don't tell us about all the pro bono you do. You should be ashamed of yourselves!

Jack Lerner@jacklerner.bsky.social

This Paramount-Skydance merger deal is awful! Allowing this merger to go through with the weakest of weak sauce “deals" one could imagine is an incredibly devastating betrayal. One man will now control almost inconceivable amounts of news, film, TV, and other programming.

One billionaire can censor or veto anything he wants and the market forces to stop him are gone! He is already a massive billionaire—he doesn't care! No settlement could ever be devised that would make it okay to control this much media. It is awful and we should be marching in the streets!

You may not be interested in politics, but politics is interested in you. Every time Republicans cut services, every time your rent goes up—that's politics. They're betting you won't show up. Prove them wrong. If we're not at the table, we're on the menu. #BlueWaveIn50Days

After 9/11, there was this quip circulating among neocons: "Everyone wants to go to Baghdad. Real men want to go to Tehran." But it didn't happen, because even among that bloodthirsty crowd they realized what a spectacularly stupid idea it was.

🗽LOLGOP🗽@lolgop.bsky.social

On this 9/11, I'm thinking about how George W. Bush was maybe the worst possible person to be president in 2001, but even he wasn't foolish enough to start a war of aggression with Iran.

It’s mind-blowing that we have literal white nationalists in the White House carrying out unfathomably cruel, abusive, white nationalist policies, and the punditariat has spent the last two weeks debating if some people were too intemperate after a Black man was murdered by cops six years ago.

I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. She separated aesthetics from character and understood "classiness" to be about how you treat people, not how you dress.

Breaking my heart this morning: “Fitting ankle monitors on noncitizens without a criminal history who remain in compliance with their immigration cases has little precedent.” True in the narrowest sense. False given how the history of slavery and peonage roars through each part of this story.

"Here’s the basic problem: AI has arrived in American life and communities across the country as a giant turd mountain. No one wants it; it makes everything worse when it arrives; and it’s been pushed and backed and cheerled by the absolute worst people in modern American life."

Congress needs to pass a law enforcing the 14th Amendment. “No person shall…hold any office…who, having previously taken an oath…to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”

Mark Hamill@markhamillofficial.bsky.social

Inciting a coup against your own country is the very definition of TREASON, full stop. There should be a law that prevents traitors from running for office.
