Everybody wants to know that my Achilles heel is// LOOOOOOOOOVE, I don't get enough of it (I think about this line constantly but not in a good way)

no matter what the reasons, the prime minister starting the week by telling people to use headphones on public transport and ending it by telling them to stock up on tinned food and bottled water is objectively hilarious

ANDY BURNHAM: say hi to our new campaign to reduce noise on public transport, HEADPHONE IT IN!!! ... 6,789 replies later ... no I'm not saying that, I just think it would be a good idea to know where your nearest fallout bunker is

Took the commentator from Mortal Kombat to a concert of Scandinavian songs of praise. he wasn't really into it to be honest, although he did perk up during the

I love Radio 4 Extra and it gave me some of my favourite jobs including Newsjack. I am gutted to hear this news, not least because it is my almost constant companion in my car. I want to be able to stumble across programmes that I might not have chosen to listen to - please sign the petition

Keep pushing this guys. The people who love this station the most probably aren't chronically online like we are so we need to spread this about a bit you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/sa...

Alternatively we keep BBC Three alive with its more than 27 jobs but we also promise to kill a bunch of badgers or something, you know, just to piss off the environmental campaigners

I watched Poor Things on Channel 4 and thought it was brilliant in a way I wasn't really expecting, like I came out just very optimistic about the human race? I'm not sure I can fully explain it?

(this is not my actual hot take, my actual hot take is that it's a modern retelling of the creation myth where Bella represents all humanity, the lab represents Eden, Duncan represents the Devil and Bella's life in Europe is postlapsarianism where humanity learns about suffering but also growth)

I think I was predisposed to like it because I love The Favourite and The Great, and I'm also in a bit of a mood to watch New Things and Have Opinions but ... Yeah! Films! They're good, aren't they?

sorry this really annoys me, Jekyll and Hyde are two diametrically opposed characters, that's literally the point of them. if he's saying "Alice Cooper is like Mr Hyde in the story of Jekyll and Hyde", that means Alice Cooper is NOT a character as he's an uncontrollable force of nature

Can you call what City fans are doing "gallows humour" if they haven't accepted your fate, and refuse to accept the club's culpability? What percentage of fans at the game actually think they will be punished, and what percentage think they'll get away with it? When is "defiance" just delusion?

I've decided this is my position on how the media should interact with City games - I understand they may be legally required to cover it but I would report everything with zero colour, the most basic opta style facts. Pretending like they're just another team is not sustainable.

reporting on these games as if they are just a regular club. I would refuse to engage with them and report on their matches with anything beyond the key incidents, anything else is normalising and excusing their massive fraud

As for what I want to happen - I think City should be suspended until the appeal is heard and we have some clarity as every game City play without punishment makes this competition more of a farce. I understand this might not be realistic. However at the very least BBC and other media can stop
