Not 100% yet, but Metal is getting there! Still need to work out some push constant and barrier nonsense.

Yes it even feels good on trackpad :)

No your eyes do not deceive you, @hyperbx.bsky.social has cooked up native MOUSE LOOK for Marathon Recompiled! Alongside revamped keyboard controls, Silver especially plays like a dream.

Y'all not ready for what Hyper is cooking up :)

hi

Does Gen Alpha know who Katy Perry and Kesha are

Last I'll post about this, but Elon Musk disagrees with me. This means I am onto something, and I feel more valid in my opinion than ever.

Rewatching Adventure Time recently and thinking about how there's no magic waiting for us on the other side of the apocalypse

Over at the other platform I'm being called a retard, gay, my art stinks and I never accounted for anything. By the hundreds. I'm not particularly bothered, half of these things aren't insults to me. Just a little glimpse of what happens when you challenge what's been made to look like the norm.

Tim Sweeney is probably the most pathetic little whiny baby I've even had the misfortune of being aware of.

The Year of 06 continues! x.com/rpcs3/status...

Well that fucking sucks decomp.dev

Why does every bit of pseudocode for my algorithms class have to be written like golfed JavaScript Please name your variables I beg.

Well this is... interesting. Not sure what it means and I don't think they do either, but it's defo interesting. news.xbox.com/en-us/2026/1...

Another week! We got: - A bunch of audio fixes to reduce popping and artifacts - More fixes and restoration patches for UI - Upgraded from SDL2 to SDL3 - Patch for fixing env maps - High quality macOS icons and PSO caching to effectively eliminate shader and pipeline stutter!

get fuckin' lemon'd

Experimenting with fixing one of my biggest personal issues with this game, the billboarded particles clipping...

hacked together a quick program to put all of the unique permutations of each set object from '06 into a test stage to help with accumulating MarathonRecomp's PSO cache, had a bit of fun along the way

oopsie someone did a false advertising

POV: You haven't played CrossWorlds in like 6 months

Been watching a lot of dan hentschel videos lately

Oh boy new blog post time isaacmarovitz.com/posts/comps/

Now I am become Sonic, destroyer of Discords

Missed us? We've been working on a number of significant improvements like: - The ability to resize at runtime! - Fixed issues at very small resolutions with pre-rendered cutscenes. - Fixed some bugs with the enhanced blur shader so it doesn't blur what it shouldn't blur.

I still see a lot of confusion about what decompilation, recompilation and ports are and what level of effort is involved in each type of project. It's important that people understand the difference, as recompilation took a drastically different meaning that when it was originally introduced.

The guy who made the AI-generated Gen 1 recomp left a reply to my thread on Twitter (completely unprompted/untagged) saying all of my issues with that release were "inaccurate", so it was suggested I post my video comparison (with the sheer volume of bugs from just the intro alone) to here as well.

Honestly one of the worst parts of the sloppening is just how inescapable it is. I wake up and I see AI generated slop, people discoursing about AI, AI headlines. I go to class and my profs tell us to use it. I do hobby projects and it's there like the green goblin mask. I'm tired boss.
