After a lot of work I finally have my shop back online. Already sold a few pieces. Big ups to everyone sharing and checking out my work. Not for nothing, I kind of had the yips about going live. It's hard to know if people will be interested. It's worse to know that they aren't.

YARD SALE. So. I have some items that I want to sell. Before I post them on eBay or FB Marketplace, I have put them up for sale through my art shop on my website (for less than they go on average on those sites) .

Still, I care enough and my brain pushes back so much that sometimes it's hard to finish projects like this. But I had a bigger motivation to getting everything back online. Ghost is getting older. And a recent emergency medical situation with him cost nearly $4,500 in total.

I really needed my shop back online. I was already in the middle of it. But the middle was photo editing and inventory management. And I still need to put more things online. Commissions are going to be available again. And I need to restore other basic parts of the site.

You might adore the one I'm least proud of. It's possible. Also pobody is nerfect. Maybe I dislike something because of a mistake or I've grown past it. But you won't notice or care. Believe it or not that's not an entirely uncommon situation with artists and their patrons.

So in the end, it's kind of weird to have the yips about any of this. Very little of it is actually within my power to control.

It's real easy to fail when you're the only employee at a job best that really needs 3-5 people. And then the whole thing rides entirely on subjectivity. Even if I think a painting is the best one I've ever done, the audience (read: you) may have different ideas.

it just flew right in, the garage door was barely open T___T I can't find it anymore, idk if it's hiding

alert alert it is 9PM and there is a small bird in the studio

Prints and merch are back online! I put up my newest pieces that were featured at GCX, plus a kind of top 20-ish. Prints, stickers, and even a few limited edition pins are still available.

Regrettably, the leftover prints from GCX were lost when my bag went missing in transit with UPS this past summer. So I don't have any of the remaining merch that was featured at the show- including desk mats, hand-embellished prints, and shirts. A bummer, but...

If there's something you know I've painted from Destiny or another game, message me and I will work on re-adding it to the shop. Basically I wanted to just get the shop back up and highlight some of the most popular pieces, but I can print others as well.

The joy of searching for a single toggle to make a website do a thing and just not finding it.

irrezolut.com/originals After a few sales yesterday, there are 69 listings left! This piece, along with many others, is still available.

Not a Test - mixed media painting on canvas. Now available.

Cut to Johnny Thompson, a vaudevillian who, as far as I can tell, lived until 2019, just slowly walking up a hallway towards the camera, laboriously going from a tiny figure all the way to filling the frame And then he just kind of raises his hand as if he will talk, but turns and walks away

NATHAN FIELDER: So now that you’ve seen it, can you tell me what was funny about that bit? ELIZABETH HOLMES: *smiling like the Smile Demon from the Smile horror movie series* The guy took a really long time to describe what his family’s act was

New and old mixed media paintings now available. It's taken me a few years to finally re-organize, re-photograph, catalogue and now set these pieces up for sale. As of this morning there are 74 originals listed. Please take a look

About half done listing my available paintings. All told I'm putting up about 80 new (and returning) pieces for sale. Large works going up next. Pushing links tomorrow. Ghost's recent vet costs were astronomical. Please consider some art and sharing my links. Thanks.

I know (along with every artist living and dead) that quality isn't the only thing that matters. It's just luck. You build it on letting people connect. Maybe you get some from quality... but there's no guarantees. Not this shortcut. Not the last ten. Not the next thousand.

Oil & Water (You Are Not Allowed to Give Up) 48x60" / 122x152cm Mixed Media Work in Progress

I'm bad at making a website that I think looks good. Recently realized that I like my sketches of websites way more than what I end up making. So I'm drawing a bunch of the parts by hand and I'm gonna use those instead. Still won't be any video either 👺

Woke up after like two hours in bed to the ceiling leaking onto me. 🖤💧🙃

You know that old saying Out of the frying pan, into the tropical storm warning

Ghost yelled at me a bunch when I was in comms playing the ARC Raiders update with some buds tonight, so he's *definitely* feeling much better. : )

Ghost is doing great again today. Eating and (stubbornly) taking his meds. Temps outside are dropping and his energy is returning so maybe tomorrow or Saturday if it's nice out we'll get a good long walk around the grove and up to the mailbox and back.

He's eating breakfast and being fussy about medications. So. Things are back to normal. 🙃

Ghost is back home and exhausted. He ran right to his chair in the studio and he's sleeping so calmly. Very glad to have him back home. Crossing my fingers he starts taking food and does ok with all his meds.

He's so mad that I had to squirt a little syringe of medicine down his throat

There was a false alarm with some other symptoms that were pointing to heart failure, but things are back on track after some treatment. And I have some diagnostic info to follow up on while monitoring for a few days but I'm going to bring him home.

Update on Ghost. He is still at the vet. He is on supportive care, but stable. Still don't know what next steps are. Waiting for some more follow-up.

Check-ins from the overnight tech were pretty basic. He went for some walks and slept. Waiting on the doc to check on him and figure out what the next steps are. 🤞🤞🤞

Took Ghost back to the vet today. He's staying overnight for treatment. The first words out of the doctor's mouth when she saw me were "it's not looking good". About 45 minutes later, tests indicated nothing serious. But he needs monitoring and treatment.
