He liked the way she began her fierce, scornful sentences so often with a weak, conciliatory 'well.' She cut the ground out from under them before they ever got going, let them hang unsupported in the void. She had courage, great courage.

If you're a FIRL, apologies if this catches you off guard. I tried to speak to people over the last few days. In the past few months, I've been dealing with a health concern and thought I had passed it. In My Family, I have breast cancer & I found a mass and then another, and over the next weeks

I will have diagnostic tests to rule out breast cancer. I lost a first cousin whom I was close to a few years ago after a missed diagnosis. And I have 2 aunts living with breast cancer. (No evidence of disease) I should know by the second week of Dec. If you could send all your good thoughts. 🤍

When I received questions in my inbox about JM’s new single from musicians & long-time listeners. What is your hot take? I love it. It's raw and evocative, and I was a bit surprised

that he hasn't been "holding" a guitar in any video or promo so far, but I think it shows his deeper artistry and maturity. We all know he's a master guitarist. I love this breakaway, the use of the voice as the instrument, the solo. No doubt— John is brilliant. Anyone else with a positive?
