A slightly atypical interview-based podcast. The show helps explore many of the interests I have, including board and all things creating. Listenable everywhere—Linktree attached: https://linktr.ee/vodpodprod

In a little repost/quote-ception, I have been reflecting on this episode after listening to it again after it published (will probably be doing some tangential podcasting threads in the near future). While there are so many things I love about this conversation—and just reliving the fun time with

and the connections between other guests that occur through that are both fascinating and just make me very happy. It’s not the “biggest” space or hobby. There are certainly parts that could be more welcoming too. The guests that have been kind enough to join the show really demonstrate the best

@25thcentury.games has been doing a fantastic job of getting games that people want into their hands! Whether the games have been out of print or are in need of some localization, the amount of care in this process is extremely appreciated in the board game space. open.spotify.com/episode/0QkL...

@amabel.bsky.social ‘s video essays are permanent queue hoppers. This one, unsurprisingly, is phenomenal. A holiday in July—a Hollanday some may say… (which, that will be a great way to support Hollandspiele, or just buy any time!). If you somehow haven’t seen this, you’re in for a treat.

Expansions are kinda weird, right? I spoke with ten game designers and a historian about one of the most unusual elements of modern board games. www.youtube.com/watch?v=v08K...

Following the huge success that High Tide was at the inaugural Indie Games Night Market, @marcelineleiman.bsky.social graciously joined the show to talk about her designs, studying classic card games, advocacy, and so much more. open.spotify.com/episode/22DE... It was one of those talks that was

It’s the amazing time again as we rev up for Gen Con! That also means its time to ~self plug~ 🔌 Please give DINO RACER 🏁🦕🦖 a good ole fashioned THUMB UP 👍 on the BGG Gen Con Preview list! Your support will help the game receive more visibility from people previewing the list!!! Thank you!!!

nearly two hours but felt like a half hour—just very engaging and flowing (aptly so). As High Tide sold out as quickly as it possibly could have at the event, it was picked up for publication, and I immediately ordered a copy. Both that and Phantasmic, another one of Marceline’s releases from last

year, have made numerous appearances on our tables (and hikes, trips, etc.). Between the new/upcoming releases in Dino Racer, Nebular Colors, Wildberries, and more, there’s a ton to look forward to, so make sure check these projects out and share them with anyone you know who likes games!

Just backed @bitewinggames.bsky.social 's Rolling Deep & Eureka (www.kickstarter.com/projects/bit...), so it's a perfect time to hop into the wayback machine for episode seven with Nick. 2026 has been. Even making this simple post is something I've delayed numerous times. Anyway, there is a fire of creativity stoking, and I'm finally actually doing some of that again. New episodes will be coming—I just really want them to be good. Until then, I'll share some awesome being released/

Some obligations are wrapping up in a bit, so I'm quite excited to getting into a little bit better rhythm here soon. There's some obvious bias to this statement, but I think the show is really doing some unique things—all the guests are great and just roll with it. I couldn't be happier.

giving it a rating and/or comments, sharing, sending me a message, or doing anything else would be extremely appreciated! 2026 was been 'eh' (at best), so, even though the number of episodes has been pretty limited, I'm really doing everything I can to pour as much as I can into each episode.

@tombrewster.bsky.social joins the show to take on the (second) hottest new roguelike, “Chip Cat Breach.” With different challenges, meta-construction of the game in real time, and an all around great conversation, this is a wild ride you don’t want to miss. open.spotify.com/episode/6WdP...

@cmyk.games's @alex.cmyk.games joins Intertextual Experience for its newest episode. It's unsurprisingly amazing, and I could type a whole bunch of words explaining why it is. But I'll just let the episode, colors, and Alex speak for themselves. open.spotify.com/episode/1uqV...
