Debates over religious freedom are before the Supreme Court, at the border, in our schools and hospitals. This spring, LRRP Director @lizrplatt.bsky.social is teaching a course at @unionseminary.bsky.social that goes beyond the headlines. Register by 4/1: utsnyc.pathwright.com/library/reli...

Our hearts are with Temple Israel — the largest reform synagogue in the U.S. — and with our Jewish community across the country. We’re relieved that, as of now, no one at the synagogue was seriously hurt. No one should have to fear for their safety anywhere, let alone inside of a house of worship.

If the past year has shown us anything, it’s that courage is the new currency. CEO @skyeperryman.bsky.social joined @interfaithalliance.org’s Rev. Raushenbush to discuss how building community is essential in the face of a rapidly accelerating authoritarian regime.

On The State of Belief this week: Listen to highlights from our Jewish-Muslim solidarity event on Capitol Hill.

Listen to this new podcast by @interfaithalliance.org highlighting our recent Jewish-Muslim solidarity briefing with MPAC and partners. We must reject zero-sum thinking and stand together against antisemitism, Islamophobia, and threats to our democracy: www.interfaithalliance.org/post/jewish-...

The Interfaith Alliance team is thrilled to announce the second cohort of the Interfaith Leadership Network (ILN)! Meet our 2025-2026 Interfaith Leadership Network Fellows here:

Xenophobia and antisemitism are intimately interwoven. Sometimes that's true in subtle ways and sometimes in obvious ones. See here:

“They want to use scripture as a perfume to cover the stench of their policies.” -Reverend @raushenbush.bsky.social

“The Greater Than campaign is Nothing Less than rebranded, old-school, fundamentalist hate. It belongs in the trash heap of history, and the majority of religious Americans who believe in human dignity will make sure it stays there." -Reverend @raushenbush.bsky.social

"It is time for people of faith and for all Americans to choose love and solidarity over ICE’s brutality. And, for the love of God, it is time for ICE to get out of Minnesota and all our communities." -Reverend @raushenbush.bsky.social in @contrariannews.org

We are outraged and heartbroken that another innocent person has been brutally gunned down by ICE in the streets of Minneapolis, simply because he tried to help his neighbors and to bravely stand against oppression perpetrated by ICE in the community.

“Join us in sending a message to all our elected officials that no agency should have license to arbitrarily arrest and detain people without due process. ...In our varied and united faith traditions, love of neighbor is not optional.” -Bishop Mariann Budde, Episcopal bishop of Washington

We choose love, not ICE!

Trump said God would be "very proud" of his first year back in office and touted himself as a champion of religion and America's faith communities. We've got the receipts to prove otherwise:

"The most pressing threat to religious liberty in our country today is the Trump administration itself." -Reverend @raushenbush.bsky.social

Grateful to @interfaithalliance.org for standing with us on the critical need for non-theistic inclusion under the First Amendment. We’re proud to stand together in defense of religious freedom for all. https://www.interfaithalliance.org/post/the-critical-need-for-humanist-inclusion

As SCOTUS hears two cases impacting the rights and lives of trans people, our Comms Director Blake Goodman is rallying outside the Court with our partners at @ncjw.bsky.social, @keshetlgbtqjews.bsky.social, @the-rac.bsky.social, @interfaithalliance.org, & more.

Today, the Supreme Court is hearing the oral arguments in two pivotal cases concerning the dignity of our beloved trans youth. So we’re outside of SCOTUS showing that people of faith support our trans neighbors! Because all lives are sacred. ❤️ @aclu.org

33% of Hoosiers are or sympathize with Christian nationalists, including Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith, said Interfaith Alliance's Adam Friedman.

Horrified and outraged by the attack on the synagogue in Mississippi - as a Christian as an American I condemn this attack on the Jewish community. Everyone must join together to stop the rising tide of antisemitism.

“What I was seeking to do there was to be a presence of love and care,” the Rev. Susie Hayward said. Choose love, not ICE. ❤️

We choose love, not ICE. We are heartbroken and outraged by the senseless violence today in Minneapolis. In the face of hate and cruelty, we are choosing to show up with courage, conviction, and love for all of our neighbors.

“Christian nationalism is not new, but it has drawn recent mainstream attention after Christian symbols, flags, and Bible verses were ubiquitous during the violent attacks on the Capitol on January 6th.” -Rev. @raushenbush.bsky.social
