A US Air Force C-17 (03-3127) has filed a plan as RCH260 to depart from Kelly Field (KSKF) in San Antonio and fly to Misrata Airport (HLMS) in Libya today. This is possibly the military deportation flight reported on below by the NYTimes. (Data from @thebaldgeek.bsky.social 's website).

The New York Times@nytimes.com

Breaking News: The Trump administration is planning to send a group of migrants to Libya, in a sharp escalation of its deportation program.

Even more fun fact to keep you up at night, the below tweet is technically incorrect; the Dassault Rafale is interoperable with US Carriers. Kill the F-35, and we are at the mercy of the frogs.

I think this is pretty obvious, but there is an enormous underlying risk to nuclear-armed states lobbing cruise and ballistic missiles at each other. The uncertainty of what they are tipped with, which has to be decided while they are in the air, can lead to unintended and catastrophic escalation.

Shipwreck@shipwreck75.bsky.social

India is preparing military action in response to the Pahalgam attack, with plans for stand-off weaponry targeting Pakistan underway. New Delhi blames Pakistan, including its Army Chief, and is considering cruise and ballistic missile options, per government sources.-India Express

FYI Yokosuka is the only naval base servicing USN carriers which can complete a maintenance availability on time and on budget. This is mostly due to the fact that the Japanese contractors there are much better at their jobs than the typical shipyard bubbas you find in Norfolk.

Trump has once again questioned the US-Japan Alliance: "We defend them but they don't have to defend us...We pay hundreds of billions of dollars to defend them...We pay all the money. They don't pay anything." [Japan pays money to support the US bases. Significantly more than other allies.]

First Constellation Frigate Only 10% Complete, Design Still Being Finalized The late and over-budget Constellation class design is still in flux, with only 15% commonality with the frigate it's based on, not 85% as planned. Latest: www.twz.com/sea/first-co...

The IRGC has shown itself time and again to be a leaky ship totally penetrated by Israeli intelligence, I wouldn't blame the Houthis if they decided that Iran can have them back before their leaders also get the Hezbollah treatment from Mossad.

Israel doesn't need access to Gulf state airspace to strike Iran, and neither does the US (B-2's in Diego Garcia the biggest example). This messaging isn't about the Gulf States protecting Iran, it's about them warning Iran not to violate their sovereignty during any counterattacks on US bases. 1/2

The Gulf States don't want to be targets for Iran's missile stockpiles (which would have a much easier time hitting them than Israel), but maintaining a 'neutral' position if Iran decided to target their territory vis-à-vis US bases they host would be a whole different ballgame. 2/2

Interesting transfer of equipment from INDOPACOM to CENTCOM. Hard to say what it is, there is a large amount of equipment prepositioned in Korea which could be shifted to the Middle East. Movement is another signal indicating CENTCOM is positioning units/equipment for some operation/contingency.

TheIntelFrog@theintelfrog.bsky.social

Significant movement from Osan AB, South Korea to Isa AB, Bahrain is underway. At least 13 US Air Force C-17A Globemaster III's have arrived at Osan in the last 3 days. Four have left Osan and arrived at Isa AB. Mission coding is sequential suggesting that these flights are linked. 1

Geolocation of a USAF F-16 conducting a 'counter air operation' at an undisclosed location in CENTCOM's AOR last week. Photo was taken over the Red Sea & the southwestern Saudi coast ~350 km from the border with Yemen. These patrols are meant to intercept Houthi missiles and drones. (19.487, 40.958)

Masterful gambit by Hegseth inspiring half the national security team to perjure themselves in front of Congress yesterday. WH needs to have this imbecile breathalyzed before allowing him to speak to the press in the future.

IntelWalrus@intelwalrus.bsky.social

Hegseth probably had a few too many mini bottles on his flight to realize that Jeffrey Goldberg and the Atlantic are still sitting on the most sensitive parts of the group chat and could publish them just to refute these pathetic denials.

It is May 1st 2011, Operation Neptune Spear has been given the green light. Tom Dillon accidentally invites Dwayne the Rock Johnson into the OBL pc small group along with Hillary, Biden, Robert Gates, and Leon Panetta. The rest is history.

Hegseth probably had a few too many mini bottles on his flight to realize that Jeffrey Goldberg and the Atlantic are still sitting on the most sensitive parts of the group chat and could publish them just to refute these pathetic denials.

Acyn@acyn.bsky.social

Reporter: Why were those details shared on signal? Hegseth: Nobody was texting war plans

Reading about VP "say thank you" Vance seething in the Trump admin's war planning group chat about Europeans needing to pay for American military adventures in Yemen is so on brand for the worst VP is modern American history.

Sahil Kapur@sahilkapur.bsky.social

New from Jeffrey Goldberg: The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans "U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling." www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

Geolocation of a US Navy F-18 Super Hornets formation flight assigned to the USS Harry Truman at an 'undisclosed location' in CENTCOM's AOR earlier this month. The refueling flight transited south over Southern Jordan near the Israeli Border and Red Sea. (29.603773°, 35.123853°)

I wonder why DHS and the Army tried to scrub their articles and photos from Secretary Noem's February visit to the makeshift tent city at Guantanamo they intended to house migrants at. It included the only public photo inside the tents, which obviously don't meet ICE detention standards.

Since Russia's invasion, the US had been providing Ukraine with access to electronic warfare reprogramming data to identify and defeat Russian radars. A significant portion of US production in this area was used to assist Ukraine according to improperly redacted contract documents I've seen.

Olga Nesterova@onestpress.onestnetwork.com

US President Donald Trump's team has ordered the termination of vital support for F-16 fighter jet jamming equipment that Ukraine has. What is important to understand is that this could deprive the Ukrainian Air Force of its most important air countermeasures. news.online.ua/en/the-us-is...

Papa Air Base is no Ramstein. Also what do you do with the dependents living in Germany? This would be a withdrawal from Europe not a redeployment.

Michael Horowitz@michaelhorowitz.bsky.social

Donald Trump is considering pulling US troops from Germany and redeploying them to Hungary according to the Telegraph “Trump is angry that they [Europe] appear to be pushing for war,” according to a White House source quoted by the Telegraph

This is a worrying sign for future US operations if the rift with European allies grows out of control. Europe is the logistical hub for every adjacent theater in which the US operates. The US presence in the Mid East and Africa is dependent on supplies, airspace, and nautical access to Europe.

OSINTtechnical@osinttechnical.bsky.social

After yesterday's events in the White House, Haltbakk Bunkers, one of Norway's largest marine fuel companies, appears to have announced that it will no longer refuel American Navy vessels. Haltbakk has called on other European companies to refuse service to American forces.

If you are disappointed and shocked at US leadership in Europe unraveling in real-time in an obscene confluence of idiocy, conceit, and corruption just wait a few years when an even more senile President does the same thing in the Pacific when China makes its move.

One of Hitler's favorite tactics was to invite leaders he wanted to dominate to personally meet him and then ambush them with insults and wild demands such as with the Austrian Chancellor before forcing the Anschluss. Schuschnigg's own words:

The Texas National Guard put up a photo of their 'deputization ceremony' last week that pretty much includes the full text of the Memorandum of Understanding b/t CBP and Natl Guard which the deputized guardsmen were made to sign. There are some interesting details and even one soldier's PII 🤦‍♂️..

Emily Bregel@emilybregel.bsky.social

The southern border is now fortified by 16,500 border agents, 3,600 active-duty soldiers, 4,500 Tex. National Guard & 2,200 Natl Guard deployed under Biden. With just 29,000 migrant arrests in Jan., that equates to about one migrant per agent/soldier per month, Adam Isacson of WOLA said. @tucson.com

Says it all really, the age of US international leadership is dead and buried.

Anonymous@youranoncentral.bsky.social

Ukraine resolution at the UN called Russia an aggressor and demands the full withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukraine’s internationally recognized borders. The United States, Israel, and Russia voted against it. Every free democratic country around the globe voted in favour. #EndImpunity

This is the most extraordinary part of this story. The capability that these drones bring by operating in Mexican airspace is the ability to hoover up any geolocate any cell phone or radio signals from specific individuals the CIA wishes to target or surveil. Not something you can do with CBP MQ-9s.

Natasha Bertrand@natashabertrand.bsky.social

NEWS: The CIA under President Trump has been covertly flying MQ-9 Reaper drones over Mexico to spy on drug cartels, part of Trump’s dramatic reorientation of national security assets to the US southern border. www.cnn.com/2025/02/18/p...

You would be hard-pressed to find a government agency not subscribed to @politico.com Pro, a quick search shows State, Interior, Commerce, Ag, Transportation, Interior, Defense, HHS, and even the White House have contracts for Politico Pro subscriptions among many other offices and agencies.

One of the 79th Rescue Squadron's HC-130J's (KING71) is up right now over the Utah Test and Training Range performing downed pilot rescue training missions. Another aircraft, a civilian Cessna T303, N412BP, which has been modified to conduct ISR missions seems to be participating or observing.

Mosaic Lightning 25-1 begins today. 55 RQS Jolly Greens and 79 RQS Hercs will be participating out of Davis Montham, supposed to take place at the UTTR and will be focused on nighttime CSAR training.

It has never been more over for the Twitter Navalist bros who have deluded themselves for years into believing the US and its Navy would go to war with the PLA to protect Taiwan.

The woke leftists are going to defund the military-industrial complex and cut army manpower by 75%! Oh wait that's not some dream cooked up by Bernie Sanders that's the current wishlist of the Trump admin. 😂

Michael Stahlke@michaelstahlke.bsky.social

Good lord. You weren’t joking.

They are really cooking by placing an alcoholic rapist in charge of a military that is already struggling to retain and recruit service members. Women have been propping up the declining numbers of recruits for years now. This is like putting up a sign saying you will not be safe working here.
