I find it impossible to indulge in 1970s nostalgia without remembering how everything was brown and stank of fucking nicotine.

Overmono in NY last night. It’s not very often that folk film Laxbrook or the climax of Good Lies; these are two of my favourite edits to have ever made for them. @overmono.bsky.social

** NEW RELEASE! ** The Early Years mark a year since the release of their comeback single ‘The River’ with a new version. The *HEX Edit* was previously only on the CD of the band’s third album, ‘Modern Moonlight’, but is now on all digital platforms, ahead of their first UK tour in a decade...

“How do you explain the light changing at the end of the day, the first cool air at the end of summer, random moments of deep contentment despite all the shit? It quickly becomes trite; sounds work much better.” Listen and watch the video by @innerstrings.bsky.social: linktr.ee/sisterraydav...

Up the Albion!

Working Men’s Club have made their Domino debut with new single ‘Devout’ The Atticus Ross co-produced track marks their debut for Domino.

Always a pleasure to return to Manchester Psych Fest, this year looking after the Bad Vibrations stage, who had my pals Working Men’s Club on the lineup.

Seven years ago today, I met Wayne Coyne; he took his hand out of a bag of Kettle Chips to shake my hand. Cheese and Onion, unless I’m mistaken.

“Oz and Al presented this almost complete,” says Andy of the track. “I listened to it while reading the Ted Chiang short story ‘Tower Of Babylon’ which it seems to me to musically describe, with its musical structure.”

🗼🗼🗼 NEW RELEASE!!! 🗼🗼🗼 Andy Bell and Masal have released a new single, ‘Tower Of Babylon’. The second single from the forthcoming collaborative album ‘Common Primitives’ is out now on all digital platforms...

Damn!

Many of you will not be surprised to hear that I watched the 1999 eclipse through an oil wheel, a particularly dark one.

I saw inside a fig fruit for the first time ever yesterday. Utterly horrifying!

‘Here It Comes’ is the beautiful, Big Star-shaped first single from the forthcoming Sennen album ‘New Quiet’, which is out on October 30. Here’s a clip from the video by @innerstrings.bsky.social. Watch the full thing and pre-order the album here: linktr.ee/sennenuk

The story of the forgetful dog…

LOL. Someone has taken Father and Son, from the album Inferno by Boards of Canada, and replaced the dialogue with talk between Principal Seymour Skinner and Superintendent Chalmers from an episode of The Simpsons. Some of the comments, from #BoC fans, are on point. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHWS...

Sairie premiere the video for “Harder Than It Seemed”, the first single from their debut album “Beneath the Spreading Tree”. 70s folk influences, stripped-back arrangements and Emma’s striking vocals lend an otherworldly, transportive beauty to their sound. klofmag.com/2026/07/vide...

New single from @sairie.bsky.social “Harder Than It Seemed” Filmed and directed by me at one of my favourite places; The Church of the Good Shepherd. This video was also a joy to edit, layering footage of a trip to Barcombe. I consider myself very lucky to live in this wonderful part of Sussex.

On paper, I should love them, but I’m really not a fan of Radiohead. I can see the appeal, and I respect them, but they do nothing for me musically. Sorry.

Terrific weekend in Tokyo providing visuals for Sabres of Paradise. I could get used to the 21m LED wall!

Today sees the release of our new single Harder Than it Seemed and we are very proud to share a @klofmag.com premiere of the beautiful new video made for us by @innerstrings.bsky.social klofmag.com/2026/07/vide...

Portugal v Spain, that should be an exciting game. It’s not.

I remember how hot the print factory I used to work in would get. Compressors chucking out hot air all day, zero air conditioning anywhere; except for the office, where there was an air con unit installed for the boss’s dog! Naturally, the stupid hound would lay in the sun!

It’s always with great trepidation that I ask a question on a local community facebook group. My trepidation is always justified.

Forgive me for blowing my own trumpet here, but there aren’t many things that give me as much satisfaction as seeing my edits on the big screen behind Overmono. 🍑🎺

I only ever made one meme. OK, I added a word ‘Levitation’.

The Working Men’s Club maakte er een lekkere duistere EBM en Acid show van #TGE26

Watching and dissecting the evening’s overstimulating work is how I like to wind down. Two hours later…

On this day, 1992, a magnificent show from Spiritualized, support was from Verve and Bark Psychosis. This has prompted me to listen to ‘Hex’, which is an amazing record *gazes hypnotically out of the window!

Can’t believe I spent all those years resisting bedtime.

I’d rather Tr*mp wasn’t turned into a martyr. The f**ker needs to be in jail.
