Okay… time to spoil it 🐰💬 For the past week I’ve been teasing a hidden Easter egg in BlockSwipePuzzle. If you see a bunny during gameplay and tap it — the entire game transforms into a full Easter theme 🐣🌸 Super fun to build. Try it before Easter’s over! #buildinpublic #indiedev #SwiftUI #gamedev

🎨 To make BlockSwipePuzzle’s Easter theme work, I refactored the code to use semantic colors + a custom theme manager in SwiftUI. Now I can instantly swap the game’s entire look — and yes, that means light mode and more color themes might be coming soon 👀 #buildinpublic #SwiftUI

I’ve hidden an Easter egg in my game! 🐣 For the past few days, I’ve been working on a fun Easter-themed In-App Event for BlockSwipePuzzle. There’s now a secret way to unlock a full seasonal makeover… but you’ll have to discover it yourself 👀 Update’s coming soon #buildinpublic #gamedev #SwiftUI

Working on a Easter theme for BlockSwipePuzzle! Still playing with colors and icons. What do you think of the Easter palette so far? 👇 #buildinpublic #SwiftUI #MobileGame

🧩 50% of my users quit during onboarding… and I think it’s my fault. For my game BlockSwipePuzzle, I had a hunch that people weren’t getting the core mechanics. So I ran an experiment: I made the tutorial harder to figure out if people were dropping off because of confusion or just disinterest.

The result? Roughly 50% of players dropped during onboarding. That’s huge. Now, I’m working on a new, smoother onboarding flow. The goal? 🔁 Teach the rules just enough to spark curiosity 🙌 Reduce friction 🧠 Still keep the puzzle mystery alive

I’ll be testing different flows and tweaking based on live player behavior. Here’s a sneak peek at the new version 👇 #gamedev #buildinpublic #indiedev #mobilegames

Two App Store features in one month?! 🤯 My game, BlockSwipePuzzle, has been featured TWICE in the App Store in less than a month! First under “New Games We Love”, and now “New and Noteworthy”. 🥹 As a solo developer, seeing my game recognized like this makes all the hard work worth it. 🙌
