L SCOTT

I've been hesitant to post any political rhetoric on Facebook to keep my friends intact. But if ANY of them start to champion a positive opinion regarding the possible gutting of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, then I will suggest they UNFRIEND ME before I UNFRIEND THEM on a quick button.

I have VERY LITTLE SYMPATHY for those that voted for our current president and are regretting it now. Neither candidate was perfect on choice last November, but when you look at all the FACTS and court history convictions, and downright attitude for running the country, reason should've prevailed.

Thank heavens my parents are not around anymore to see what is happening to our country. I think many of us were "sucker punched" at the election results after seeing the previous polls and extensive crowd sizes of the Kamala rallies. The purges and corruption going on now is cinematic surreal.

Occasionally, during previous Presidential Sworn-in's, I would tune in for a few minutes, then move on---whether it be Democrat or Republican. But THIS TIME, uh-uh.

Gonna be a quiet New Year's Eve night in my household, although I'm sure many of my followers and those I follow, too, will be celebrating IN STYLE. Have fun and be careful. :)_

Reap what they sow...guess the "majority" American voters who voted in the Republican Party to hold all the branches of government will face it now---thanks to Musk and Trump. Closing down the government due to budget shortfall will NOT be blamed on the Democrats.

Don't get me wrong, I voted for BIDEN...but these 1500 clemency/commutations, where many seem to NOT deserve this, throttles my mindset about him. Why do this?

Joe was running for re-election when he said that he wouldn't pardon Hunter. Circumstances have changed (America electing a convicted felon) and so to has Joe's decision. Considering Trump has vowed to pardon J6 terrorists I think those clutching their pearls over Bidens pardon for his son can STFU

President Biden CARED a lot about our country. True, I really DO NOT AGREE with some of his policies, but his heart was there. These last two months or less will be the last of normalcy for a while thanks to the July 1st SCOTUS ruling. So here's hoping for a Merry Christmas holiday season to you.

I am NOT surprised that Biden pardoned his son. If he was still in jail or a pending sentence, Trump would've found some way to keep him contained. Not to mention a total shock to lose the election from disillusioned voters who are following the Orange Man. So YEAH, pardon his son from this.

I am so glad to be all set and don't need to physically go BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING. Nowadays others are shopping online and looking for home delivery---with or without hiring a security guard to protect their front porch from passing "pirates." Have a great holiday weekend, everyone. :)

Time to practice for Thanksgiving. First time deep-frying a frozen turkey. Wish me luck..!!!

Being in my mid to late 60's, I am glad, and BLESSED, to have lived in earlier times when the era was more civilized and not bat-shit crazy like they are now. The main concern personally for "us" senior citizens is hoping our retirement/medical benefits aren't cut, especially in the upcoming years.

Just joined this site---leaving X soon. I like the setup and similar to the former. It's okay to have a difference of opinion but hopefully it will stay civilized. HAPPY THANKSGIVING. :)
