Holy shit...I have no words. I am just in awe. The shocking scale of this on a technical level and the brutality of the story make it one of the most jaw dropping pieces of art I have ever seen. Beautiful, astonishing and raw in equal measure.

I finished this piece earlier today, For the Love of Doves ๐Ÿฉถ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ featuring pigeons and doves found across the UK: feral pigeons, stock dove, rock dove, woodpigeon and collared dove ๐Ÿชถ signed prints are available in aid of the brilliant EJโ€™s Pigeon & Dove Rescue & Rehab ๐Ÿชฝ

Parents in the late 80's/early 90's who called AIDS 'the gay disease' led to me and many other kids asking "What does gay mean?"; and that's how I learned that I wasn't broken, just queer. ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒˆ

Nice job starting a conversation you didnโ€™t want kids and parents to have. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ

the idea phase is the easiest and least valuable part of professional creativity. read the first draft of the first Star Wars if you doubt me Great art is made in the grinding, often miserable collision between the ethereal substance of an idea and the mud and blood and friction of reality

Dammit I would have bought Pokopia MONTHS ago if I'd known that I could build my dream house and then live in it with Mewtwo!! Y'all been holding out on me!

"If you don't use AI you'll get left behind!" "It's already here, you can't put the genie back in the bottle." "You're just afraid of technological advances." Here's the thing about *gigantic air quotes* AI. It's a program. Running on a computer. You can just:

Finally got to see this! One of my friends I saw it with: "I love that the trend of animators who have clearly been watching Iggy and keep putting her in their movies has continued."

Give me more movies like this where women get to be weird! Not adorkable or quirky, WEIRD! I want messy, silly women who are loud and exuberant! Give me MORE!

I'll be damned if the BBC is gonna fleece me to fund the same transphobia that spews out of JK Rowling like a poisonous, ecological disaster. Fuck off.

The best part of having me on your Teams meeting is that you might be treated to a guest appearance by a bird. Will she be on my head? In my lap? Stepping on the keyboard and accidentally causing me to leave the meeting? Who knows! Anything can happen. ๐Ÿชถ

For any creatives out there today who are struggling because they constantly compare their work to that of others, I have some advice for you from The LEGO Movie; "Don't worry what the others are doing, you must embrace what is special about you."

I think about this quote often. It's like a psychic slap to the brain. No matter what you think about your skill level or style, the things you make are special because only you could have made them the way that you did.

The last half of this quote wasn't circulating nearly as much yesterday, but it's actually the clincher. God bless this brilliant, gifted, absolutely deranged man.

The next Democratic president should appoint 700 Supreme Court justices, and during their first session, without warning, they should all swarm Bret Kavanaugh and eat him.

I'm kinda digging this angle. Only a couple episodes in but it's interesting having Carrie portrayed as basically a very normal person suddenly thrown into a world that is very much insane (i.e the literal world we live in right now).

This ornament is billed as Simba and Nala but...that...that is Sarabi. Am I crazy? That is absolutely Sarabi. Nala has lighter colored fur and green eyes. But that does appear to be Simba at least. And that just makes this even more baffling.
