I'm _FASCINATED_ by the people in academia who apparently think there's something about "using AI" to learn. Like if they just teach how to use it, it'll be ok? I use this stuff every day to great effect, but only b/c of all the other stuff I know. I wouldn't use it on anything I haven't mastered.

I’m pretty sure I heard the Dem candidate for governor of Georgia on Bloomberg this evening ask whether the state needs more data centers rather than just say, “We don’t need more data centers.” Georgia has more than any other state.

If - IF - the bond market “kills” the AI hyper scaling, it won’t kill AI, but it will 1) bring a lot of pain to the market and 2) bring a lot more sanity to the entire situation. And 3) might end up causing a 2005-2008 style boon for interesting new companies.

Ok. Last thing about the Cheesecake Factory thing, i swear: 1) Obama's right. 2) And as good an orator as he is, he doesn't really understand this moment and how he could have conveyed it. What he should have said is that the Oval decor is cheesy as hell. It's weird! B/c they're weird!
