Like sir, I can get you that entire feature in two days, but trust me, you're gonna KNOW I built it in two days when you start using it. And that's the part that gets me. Just because AI makes something possible to build faster doesn't automatically mean it's a good idea to rush it.

The worst case is when you have a boss (originally non technical) who decides to start vibe coding. The other day I spent hours because someone pushed the dev environment to prod environment. Like be frfr now. I feel like I have a brain but I'm not at liberty to use it anymore.

I can barely get started explaining how I plan to approach a task before somebody cuts me off with: "Just let Claude handle it!" "That's literally what Claude is for. Let it do the heavy lifting!" And don't even get me started on the timelines.

You get assigned a task, and 10 minutes later somebody's already asking: "What's taking so long? Are you even using Claude properly? This should take like two minutes!" The other day in a meeting, I'm explaining to management "Just because we can don't mean we should."
