I'm a Gen-X socialist who has read Marx and will soon write a Cliff's notes version for the DSA millennials. I also bake my own bread and play the shamisen flute. But make no mistake; I'm here for the politics, not the cat memes. Okay, maybe just a few...

The problem with electing a POTUS who has never read "The Prince" or "Art of War" is simple: They will be the only leaders on the world stage that have not read those 2 books. And they will get played at every single turn. Reagan had Bush Bush had Cheney Nobody minding this simpleton.

If the United States does not respect the laws of other nations, and gives shelter to wanted criminals... Why should any nation respect the laws of the United States? There is no strategic or practical reason. Therefore, many no longer will. Any strategist could have told MAGA that.

Mao was a dictator and a mass-murderer. Opinions vary on whether he was even a legit communist. None of that matters in China. If you have lucrative endorsement deals in a nation whose language you don't speak and culture you don't understand... avoid social media like the plague.

What if Nicky Minaj was the next White House Press Secretary? What would her first press conference look like? I can't stop thinking about it.

“I wish I had been more shrewd and less simple, like those who exploited our meeting for partisan political purpose,” he wrote. “I pray I am more prudent and wise going forward, even as I remain resolute in my openness to engaging and praying for political leaders at all levels."

Caster Sementa isn't trans, she's intersex. Her body produces more T than her competitors. As a result, she's been banned from several races, after refusing to take meds that lower T levels. I've never once seen her case referenced by either pro-trans or anti-trans lobbies in the US.

I think that's because they seek to make emotional appeals, rather than logical, science-based arguments. That's not how to influence Florid Man. He's emotionally smooth where policy is concerned. Like a Ken doll.

A serious, masculine voice over B&W, apocalyptic video: "David Jolly would undo Ron DeSantis entire legacy as governor." Cut to a clip of Jolly saying: "Republicans call that socialism, I don't care." That's a Byron Donald SuperPAC attack ad!? I couldn't have written a better pro campaign!

Bread crumbing hateful trolls is more entertaining than I thought it would be. Which means I'm in danger of catching the troll disease.

If they can afford to spend $200,000,000 to keep an honest politician out of the Senate, then they can pay more tax. A LOT more.

Team Talarico@teamtalaricohq.bsky.social

Talarico: You want to know why they are spending $200 million against me? Because I don’t take their corporate PAC money and I never will. I don’t work for them. I work for you. When we flip this seat in Texas, I’m going to vote to ban corporate PACs so billionaires can’t buy our elections.

The troll brigade should ask itself: are they angry because I'm wrong or because I'm right? Keep on trolling, I'll keep blocking. The only folks I'm interested in interacting with are rational adults.

"The concerns to me were that Hall was recommending treatment for patients that he hadn't assessed, that he hadn't met, and that other GPs were uncomfortable with prescribing," That's concerning. A Dr lost her job for following rules, the NHS lost a Dr and nobody won a damn thing.

I can vote for a "Lesser of Two Evils" Democrat in a state race. In Tallahassee, David Jolly will not be sending bombs to a rogue terror state. If he runs for US Senate, I'll vote no. Because David Jolly is a carpetbagging opportunist who WILL take AIPAC money and marching orders.

Israel is currently sealing off the entire West Bank. This is the following crimes under International Law. Of course there will be silence or even support from the West for Israel as they commit these crimes.

Conservatism is a billy club adorned with religious icons. Neoliberalism is a billy club covered in pride stickers. Neither ideology will tolerate any dissent from party orthodoxy. Both seek to silence critics. The conservatives are simply much better at that.

Getting burned taught me not to play with fire. Getting cut taught me not to play with knives. Having my face smack into a windshield taught me to wear my seatbelt. I was lucky. Some kids are horribly scarred or die before they learn. I just hope enough MAGA have learned something.

The least treasonous explanation is that they would use the info to reject results they don't like. The most treasonous? I see no reason whatsoever why they couldn't send Putin a detailed dossier on vulnerabilities, so that he could exploit them. The Russian collusion has become obvious.
