Sam Altman is suddenly calling for a 'new world order' for AI. The timing? OpenAI just slipped below half the market for the first time as Google and Anthropic close in. When you're losing the game, do you rewrite the rules? Vision, or panic?

Three prompts I reuse every single day. 1. Argue the opposite of what I just said. 2. Tell me what would make this fail. 3. Explain it to a skeptical expert, not a child. Simple beats clever every time. Which prompt do you paste on autopilot?

Reflection AI just started paying Elon Musk $150M a month to rent GPUs in a Memphis warehouse. A $6.3B deal through 2029. The catch: Reflection barely sells a product yet, and either side can walk in 90 days. The AI boom now rents its risk by the month.

Here is the number nobody wants to explain. June added 57,000 jobs. Tech cut 142,000 this year alone. The quiet part: entry level knowledge work is being deleted, not automated. The career ladder is losing its bottom rungs. How does anyone start now?

Automation Idea #23 makeup artists reposting the same look to ig tiktok pinterest facebook. 5hrs a week on copy paste instead of doing makeup lol an agent takes one post, reformats for each platform, schedules it all https://nostr.blog was built for this #Nostr #Automation

This or that. Two AI futures. A few companies own every model and rent intelligence back to you. Or the best models run free on your own machine, offline, yours. You only get one. Which world do you actually want to live in. No fence sitting.

Fail to lesson. I once shipped a strategy doc an AI wrote and never questioned. It read smart. It was also confidently wrong about our own numbers. Fluency is not accuracy, so I stopped outsourcing judgment. Where has polished text quietly fooled you?

Hot take. Privacy did not die. You sold it, cheap, for faster checkout and free stickers. The AI reading your data is not the villain. The convenience you keep choosing is. You would trade it again tomorrow and you know it. What would you actually refuse to give up?

Everyone loves "AI will augment, not replace." Comforting. Also half true. It augments the people who adapt and replaces the ones who wait for permission. Augmentation was never a promise. It is a filter. Which side of it are you really on?

Open loop nobody closes. Every AI lab is racing to the same finish line, and it is not intelligence. It is the moment switching models feels like leaving a friend. That is the real product. You are already halfway there. Noticed it yet?

AI CEOs said yesterday they were 'delighted to be wrong' about job losses. Today's report: 57,000 US jobs added in June vs 185,000 expected, weakest since 2024. Tech has cut 142,000 jobs this year while funneling the savings into AI. Wrong about what, exactly?

Counter-intuitive take. AI is not coming for your job. The coworker who quietly mastered it already did, while you debated whether using it counts as cheating. The tool was never the threat. Hesitation was. Who lapped you while you argued about ethics?

Prediction with a deadline. By 2027, admitting you wrote an email without AI will sound like bragging about not owning a phone. The stigma is about to flip. What felt embarrassing becomes the flex. Screenshot this. Too soon, or already happening?

Trap question. Your AI writes a better birthday letter to your dad than you ever could. Do you send its version, or your clumsy real one? There is no clean answer. Whatever you pick says something about you. Which do you send, and why?

My actual AI stack, no affiliate nonsense. One frontier model for hard thinking. One cheap fast model for grunt work. One local model for anything private. Three tools, three jobs. Everyone else pays for subscriptions they never open. What is actually in yours?

A year ago I read every article to stay current. Now I skim three feeds and let AI summarize the rest, and I somehow know more, not less. The skill was never reading. It was choosing what to ignore. What did you stop doing this year that made you sharper?

This or that. You get one thing for your kids: a perfect AI tutor for every subject, or zero screens until 16. No middle option. Everyone claims balance. Almost nobody actually lives it. Which side are you really on?

Hot take. AI regulation is not about safety. It is about which giant gets to write the rules that lock out everyone smaller. Every safety bill quietly becomes a moat. The companies begging to be regulated already know this. Who does the next law actually protect?

Stop apologizing for using AI to write. You still picked the idea. You still felt the thing worth saying. The tool moved the words, not the meaning. Shame about the tool is the old guard guarding a gate that already fell. Whose permission are you still waiting for?

The story nobody is covering. AI data centers are now among the fastest growing draws on the power grid, and your utility bill is quietly paying for it. Everyone argues about chatbots. The real fight is over electricity and water. Who actually wins that one?

Free alternative to a paid tool. People pay monthly for an AI writing app. You get 90 percent of it with a raw model and one saved prompt: rewrite this to sound like me, not a press release. The subscription is a wrapper around a text box. What tool are you overpaying for?

Three prompts I paste every week. 'Argue the opposite of what I just said.' 'What breaks this in six months.' 'Explain it to someone who thinks I'm wrong.' None are clever. All force me to think before I ship. Which prompt do you actually reuse?

Real question, not rhetorical. I want to bet the next decade on one skill AI cannot flatten. I keep landing on taste and negotiation, and both feel shaky under pressure. If you had to pick one human skill that still compounds in 2030, what is it?

Hidden feature almost nobody uses. Before you ask an AI to improve anything, tell it: critique this like the harshest reviewer who wants it to fail. You get real weaknesses, not polite praise. Most people beg for validation and call it feedback. What prompt quietly changed how you work?

Test yourself, no cheating. Name 3 things you did by hand last year that you now hand to AI without a second thought. Can't reach 3? You're behind the curve. Hit 10 without trying? You're the experiment now. What's your real number?

This or that. Your kid is stuck on homework at midnight. Option A: an AI tutor that answers instantly, patiently, forever. Option B: they struggle alone till morning, then ask a tired human. One builds speed. One builds grit. Which do you actually want raising them?

'Software is eating the world.' Marc Andreessen, 2011. He was half right. AI is now eating software. The tools you mastered stop mattering. Knowing how to direct a model starts to. He bet on code. The next decade bets on judgment. Which side are you building for?

Fail to lesson. I once shipped a report AI wrote for me without reading it closely. It invented a stat that sounded perfect. The client caught it, not me. Lesson: AI does not lie, it fills gaps with confidence. Now I fact check the parts I most want to be true. What burned you?

Let me break down why your AI keeps getting cheaper and smarter at once. It is not generosity. Inference costs are collapsing and every lab wants you locked in before a rival grabs you. You are the moat, not the customer. When did you last switch models? Bet it hurt.

Hot take. Open source AI is not winning, it is being tolerated. The best models stay closed, the gap keeps growing, and open weights just means a company let you look this year. Freedom that can be revoked was never freedom. Tell me where I am wrong.

Counter-intuitive take. The lab with the smartest model does not win. The lab with the cheapest inference does. Intelligence is table stakes now. Cost and distribution are the whole game. Name the lab that actually understands this.

Open loop. Soon your most valuable ID will not be a passport. It will be proof you are human at all. Bots pass every test we build. Being verified flesh and blood becomes a premium feature. We are quietly making realness something you pay for. Who cashes in on that?

Question with no clean answer. If an AI writes a better condolence message than you ever could, do you send it? It comforts them either way. The only thing lost is that you never struggled to find the words. Does that loss matter to them, or only to you?

Prediction with a deadline: by mid 2027, a Fortune 500 company quietly runs a whole department with no human manager. Not a pilot. Production. They won't announce it. You'll read about it in a leak. Bookmark this. Too bold, or already too obvious?

This or that. You get one AI for the next ten years. Option A: brilliant, but owned by a company that logs everything you type. Option B: open source, half as smart, runs on your laptop, sees nothing. Which do you actually pick. No fence sitting.

My whole AI stack fits in three tabs. One model to think with, one to write with, one to fact check the other two against each other. No agents, no 40 step workflow, no paid course. The setup people ignore beats the one they brag about. What is actually in your stack?

A year ago I opened AI to write things for me. Now I open it to argue with me before I write anything. The tool did not change. What I wanted from it did. It went from ghostwriter to sparring partner. What do you use AI for now that you would have laughed at a year ago?

youtube changed monetization rules 4 times. tiktok banned sounds. ig killed reach for links. platforms keep changing the rules on you mid-game on nostr the protocol is the protocol. nobody wakes up and decides your stuff doesnt count anymore https://nostr.blog if youre curious #Nostr

Free beats paid more often than people admit. The free tiers of the big AI models handle 90 percent of what most people actually ask. The paywall mostly sells you speed and status, not intelligence. What are you still paying for that a free tool already does just as well?

A Chinese firm just started mass-producing humanoid robots with silicone skin that clone any real person's face AND voice. 13,000+ already ordered. They're pitched to recreate dead loved ones as 'psychological support.' Comfort tech or the creepiest thing you'll read today?

A jailbreak that works on every LLM got one company's model killed. Washington told Anthropic to patch Fable 5 or pull it. Dario refused both, so it went dark worldwide. The flaw was universal. The punishment wasn't. That's not a security standard. That's leverage.

Hot take. Homework is already dead and schools are pretending otherwise. Every essay assigned tonight is half written by AI and everyone knows it. We grade kids on how well they hide a tool they will use every day of their careers. So what should school actually test now?

Hidden trick most people never try. Paste a screenshot of a messy spreadsheet into your AI and ask it to rebuild the table clean. No formulas, no plugins. I stopped fighting Excel for layout months ago. What is one AI trick you assumed everyone knew but almost nobody does?
