Hey @getwired.com and @niehaus.bsky.social I thought this was a funny “bug” in WinPE. Certainly an edge case of trying to run on very old stuff.

Hey @cheapyd.bsky.social on Apple Podcasts it is saying the latest CAGCast is unavailable for download? Maybe a me problem.

Hey @tero.bsky.social in your policy digging have you seen anything about controlling the new Windows search options like web / app results?

Amazon's advertising is amazing here. Glad they included the one review of one star.

I did this list the last time this went around but I can't find the post. It popped up on site when I went there. my9games.com

Well 20 yr old me left university to start working. Seeing me having spent 25+ years in K-12 tech would be surprising I imagine. Also probably impressed that I had more than 0 partners, having not had a gf by 20.

For some reason this quote from Apple TV Silo Season 3 Episode 5 just spoke to me.

After some struggles with getting couch co-op working I got to play the first 3 missions of Halo with my son. He was amazed by some of the environments and sky boxes. We are playing on Heroic. I beat legendary solo back in the day but he isn’t quite ready for that yet.

He watched The Island and was like yeah let's do that. www.themoviedb.org/movie/1635-t...

Terminator 2 for sure. I was just under 15. Some friends and I went and one their older sisters was ticket person at theater so we could get in.

Because the other 45% (present company included) are bad people?

I did something like CTRL-A in Active Directory thinking I was selecting old inactive accounts and then deleted them. I in fact deleted all the active accounts including my own and the other admin. It was a bad day.

Um @nedpyle.com

Somehow back in first again @devindra.bsky.social @jeffcannata.bsky.social @davechen.bsky.social

Last black Friday I bought my son this computer www.costco.com/p/-/cyberpow.... It was at the time $849. I thought it was a pretty good deal. It is now 6 months later, and it is $1499. Wow this timeline is bad.

Why on earth would you have a firewall with its management interface open to the public Internet? Yikes.

Hey @devindra.bsky.social @jeffcannata.bsky.social @davechen.bsky.social I was in the lead for one day! Already dropped down.

Roblox is an evil program. I tried to let my son manage his spending. It didn't go well. Lockdown again.

Hey @syfuhs.net so this problem went away last summer. Then today I installed May CU on my DC and after reboot I am seeing it widespread again. Seeing 4625 failures in Security logs. This time rebooting doesn't seem to be helping. I have opened a case but just checking if you have any new ideas.

I hope there is a massive lightning storm that causes this entire event to be cancelled. I would also accept a localized tornado.

I just looked at my monthly 403(b) (like 401(k)) statement. My account grew by 8.9% in a month. Not annualized 8.9%, like a month. This is the largest growth in a month in at least the last 3 years and maybe ever. Good for me, but the stock market isn't reality.

There is a new comedy like the old Silicon Valley. Unfortunately it is on AMC+ so very few people will see it until it comes to Netflix in a year or two. www.amcplus.com/shows/the-au...

I need to summon @getwired.com . Today at Edu Tech conference the topic of Windows server CAL and DNS/DHCP came up. I honestly never thought of needing a CAL for DNS/DHCP but I guess it does. I wonder how many people are out of compliance on this one issue?

Kind of wild to see these two email announcements that came out less than 6 months apart side by side. @gamepass.xbox.com what is coming next?
