Carrie Syczylo owns a coffee shop in little Monrovia, IN. Like many small business owners, she was inclined to avoid politics for fear of alienating customers. Then a massive data center announced plans to come to town. TUES 7pm ET | 6CT Links in the comments: #HoosierSky #Election2026

That's HELLA racist and also completely incorrect.

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

Youth protests have taken over the streets of Europe. They're upset over cuts to education, high housing costs, and bleak future prospects. Conditions in the US are as bad - or worse. So where is our mass movement to take the country back from the Epstein Class? #HoosierSky #Protest

Kacey Blundell has spent her professional life serving people whom the system has failed. This is admirable work, but what if we built a system that didn't fail people in the first place? She's running for State Senate to do just that. THURS 7pm ET | 6CT Links in the comments: #HoosierSky

State Rep. Randy Novak introduced a bill that would have AT LEAST made data centers pay sales tax on utilities. But Indiana Republicans don't want business to pay their fair share. Instead Hoosiers pay on all fronts. On our bills. With our water. With our health.

We're going into overdrive with BONUS Thurs. episodes until Election Day - and it's FIRE WEEK! After hosting former fire chief State Rep. Randy Novak Tuesday, volunteer firefighter and candidate Josh Burbrink (D-HD59) joins us Thurs. 10/22 7pm ET | 6CT Links in the comments:

The Trump administration is threatening to arrest California election officials for doing their job and counting votes. They SAY there are 20K illegal voters on the rolls, but a similar claim in Nevada earlier this year fell apart. They didn't always used to be like this.

As a firefighter - and then chief - Randy Novak spent years fighting infernos. Now he's fighting the MAGA conflagration of hate in the Indiana Statehouse. Appointed to this seat, he's looking to win this time on his own merit. TUES 7pm ET | 6CT Links in the comments:

Like Bond villains, MAGA tells you their evil plan in advance. Trump said OMB Director Russell Vought had "big surprises" in store. What kind of surprises? A seven-step plan to steal congressional seats. Raiding Ilhan Omar was step one. And they wrote it all down.

In this clip, Indiana State House candidate Michelle Milne shares an inspiring story of connection from a recent canvassing session. It's not always about winning and losing, sometimes it's the hearts and minds we change along the way.

Why are we divided? Why does everything suck? It goes back to Reagan and trickle-down economics. Things that should be public goods — like healthcare and education —are commodified and regular people are forced into debt to pay for them. And now we're the crabs in a bucket.

In her career performing, directing, and producing works of theater, Michelle Milne learned the importance of empathy. Our Republican political leaders lack it, even reject it as somehow "toxic." It's time for leaders who understand real people and can hold space for them.

Accessing voter data, questioning mail-in ballots, creating a state of war, and now stoking racial violence. Just as he telegraphed his plans in 2020, Trump is once again planting the seeds to challenge or interfere in this election. We must make the results too big to rig.

American Christianity is too often about identity and tribalism and not about healing the sick, feeding the hungry, or welcoming the immigrant. To borrow from those 1980's Wendy's commercials, "where's the Jesus?"

Michelle Milne has worn MANY hats in her career, but each role involved working with a diverse group of people to achieve a common goal. That's how the statehouse is SUPPOSED to work. She's our guest on the next HoosLeft Podcast. TUES 7pm ET | 6CT Links in the comments:

At a rally last week, President Trump said about Iran, "Let them take San Diego. Let them take Los Angeles." This is insane. But perhaps more disturbing: his supporters cheering the idea.

Indiana State Senator Ron Alting has found himself embroiled in a bit of a legal situation. He blames the incidents on cognitive issues and is stepping away from "active campaigning." But that doesn't mean he can't still run ads.

Last week's botched execution of in TN highlights the barbarism of capital punishment. The people qualified to administer it won't do so because their first duty is do no harm. Maybe pro death penalty lawmakers should be responsible. Actually, don't give them any ideas.
