2024: AI made me 20% more productive. 2025: New keyboard made me 75% less productive. Upgraded my setup to a kb with 42 keys and now I’m struggling hard! 🫑

Advanced voice with real time video is cool and all. But why is nobody talking about the Santa voices?!

Just spent three minutes debugging why pz-4 didn't add any padding to my element. 1. I think padding on the z-axis is a really novel idea. I will propose an addition to the CSS standards. 2. I think it's time for a break

Started a new side project a few weeks ago. I figured that I might as well use NextJS 15 with React 19. Because future etc Oh, have I regretted that decision many times since! For example, shadcn components are not type compatible with new React. Easy enough to fix. But still.

Building a SaaS for salespeople is hard! But there’s one great thing. I get 30+ inbound messages per week in my inbox from our ICP! They try to sell me something. I do the old switcharoo and pitch Vaam to them instead. Signed a €2k deal this week that started like this. 🀩

If you're setting up Typescript alias paths β€” use ~ as the leading character instead of "@." 1. It makes differentiating between local, aliased packages and external packages easier 2. You get better grouping If you're auto-sorting imports 3. You avoid potential conflicts with external packages

Here are two things you should do to use Cursor without pulling your hair out: 1. Commit every time you've made a change. This helps to avoid Cursor messing up in other files. 2. Be manic about single responsibility. Cursor performs much better when editing a tiny, single-use file.

For all you busy entrepreneurs; here's a picture of everything you need to get a great workout. 1. Find a spot where you can lie down. 2. Set a timer for 20 minutes. 3. Do as many navy burpees as possible before the timer rings. You’ll be surprised at how hard it is, and at how many you can do!

Followers but no engagement on πŸ¦‹? It's because the algorithm doesn’t show your posts yet. To fix: 1. Follow 50+ people in your industry 2. Spend 20min/day writing quality replies When people like your replies β†’ the algo learns they like your content β†’ they start seeing your posts β†’ you grow πŸ“ˆ

I'm feeling the mono repo pain today πŸ€• An NPM package forced me to update the TS module resolution in one of the primitive packages. It ended up cascading through the whole repo with bullshit changes in a gazillion files.

Want to add some flair to your Bsky profile? I made an indie hacker labeler that lets you add labels to show what you are made of. ⭐ Project status, MRR, financing, etc. All the badges are there. Just pick which you want and enjoy the clout! πŸ‘‰ @indielabeler.hmps.se πŸ‘ˆ

Labelers are a fantastic feature of Bluesky! They can be used for trivial things like this and to automatically label accounts that show bad behavior, share unsafe content, etc.

Labels from a specific labeler are only visible to others who subscribe to that labeler. That means that communities can enforce rules/labels that suit their culture. Pretty brilliant!

New Cursor version this morning πŸ‘€ It looks like they took some inspiration from Windsurfer! ⭐

Marketing Monday! We’ve been doing Meta ads for a while now. Feels like we’re getting the hang of it. Today we aim to publish our first ad on YouTube!

1️⃣ Indie hacker community moves to Bluesky 2️⃣ Everybody starts building tools for indie hackers on Bluesky Fighting the urge myself! πŸ˜‚

I’ll regret this decision in a few months. But today I took started moving all our web sites from Webflow to Astro. The mental pain of non-ai workflows in Webflow became too much. It takes me 10 minutes to create new pages with AI. And 30 to click through Webflow to create them.

I was today years old when I learned about git worktrees. I canceled everything. To restructure all my projects.

You are up to date.
